00:15the couple was headed for Splitsville. In a recent clip from his tour, Keith
00:19gives his guitarist Maggie Baugh a shout-out, singing, when they trying to
00:24get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player. Maggie was flattered, but Instagram
00:29users didn't think the viral moment was so cute, commenting, show some class
00:34Keith for goodness sake, Nicole deserves better, and it is so trashy to do this to
00:41a song inspired by his wife, it's the ultimate ick. In the original 2016 song
00:47featuring Carrie Underwood, Keith croons protectively, when they trying to get to
00:52you baby, I'll be the fighter. Notably, Keith told fans in 2017 that he wrote the
01:04song very quickly because he literally just thought about Nick and their
01:08relationship at the beginning and some of the things they've said. Other lyrics
01:13include, I know he hurt you, made you scared of love, and he didn't deserve you.
01:18Possible references to Nicole's first husband, Tom Cruise. The Hollywood power
01:23couple was married from 1990 to 2001. That year, the statuesque 5'11 actress
01:31famously took a swing at her significantly shorter ex on Letterman.
01:35She moved on to country singer Keith Urban, who is only an inch shorter than her. They got married in 2006, had two
01:47daughters, and seemed like the perfect couple, till it all came crashing down this
01:52week. Nicole filed for divorce on Tuesday, September 30th, citing the classic
01:57irreconcilable differences. Although a source previously told Page Six that she did not
02:03want the separation and was trying to save things. This comes as cheating rumors are
02:08swirling all over Nashville. An insider close to Nicole told TMZ, all the signs
02:13point to the fact that Keith is with another woman. Let's just say, Nicole doesn't
02:18dispute that, but she's still shocked over it. However, the timeline is unclear. Page Six
02:24sources say Nicole and Keith have been separated since June and have been living
02:29apart.
