00:00Skin crawling photos show the haunting interior of a Connecticut house of horrors
00:04where a wicked stepmother allegedly imprisoned her stepson in wretched conditions for over 20 years.
00:10The images were obtained by the post just weeks after a judge ruled that Kimberly Sullivan,
00:15who is 57, could return to the Waterbury home,
00:18which was scorched by a fire set by her 32-year-old stepson
00:21to escape from her clutches in February, according to police.
00:24Most of the rooms have been reduced to bare beams and boards.
00:27Dry wall and plaster have been ripped from most of the walls,
00:30while loose wires, dirt, debris, and broken glass litter the dark halls,
00:35which have been left all but uninhabitable.
00:37One room, however, appears to have been untouched by the fire,
00:40offering creepy clues to the tastes of the lady of the house.
00:44In a hot pink den on the first floor, a large pair of women's eyes with full red lips
00:49seductively peer across the room to a poster of a kitten in a lawn chair
00:53with the words, Lazy Days, scrawled over the top.
00:56Hanging in a ceiling corner, a doll with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes watches over the room.
01:02In what's left of the kitchen, a half-melted poster of Marilyn Monroe hangs over the counter.
01:07The stepson, known only as the letter S, weighed just 68 pounds.
01:11When responding, firefighters discovered him covered in filth as the home burned around him on February 17th.
01:17He quickly began telling investigators a horrifying tale,
01:21claiming Sullivan had held him prisoner for more than 20 years
01:23and taking him out of school as a child and locking him in an 8x9 foot storage space
01:28with just scraps of food and water for 22 hours a day or more, according to authorities.
