Asean is nearing the completion of a landmark free trade agreement (FTA) with the European Union (EU), Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan announced on Saturday (Oct 25).
Speaking at a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Mohamad also confirmed that EU President Ursula von der Leyen will attend the 47th Asean Summit and Related Summits on Sunday as a special guest.
