00:00Now it's no secret that Prince Harry's relationship with the royal family has been tense to say the
00:06least ever since he and Meghan Markle quit the royal family back in 2020. However, a royal
00:12biographer has now claimed that Prince Harry actually blew his relationship with Queen Elizabeth
00:18years before that even happened. According to this biographer, Harry got on the wrong side of
00:25Queen Elizabeth as early as 2018 when he was planning his wedding to Meghan Markle. Now it's
00:31been said that Harry irritated the Queen by effectively throwing aside years if not decades
00:38worth of traditions, effectively refusing to follow all of the rules that every other royal groom and
00:45bride had had to adhere to over the years. Some of those offenses included Meghan refusing to reveal
00:52details about her wedding dress before she put the thing on. There was obviously a huge amount of
00:59speculation about who would design the gown, what it would look like, whether it was going to be a
01:04little bit risque as far as royal traditions were concerned, and now it seems like Queen Elizabeth
01:09may have had similar concerns in the lead up to that big day. Apparently during these conversations
01:15about the wedding, Prince Harry was rude to the Queen for at least 10 minutes as they tried to
01:22hash out plans for his big day. Interestingly, Harry and the Queen were always known to have a very,
01:28very strong bond. The Queen and Harry always had a very similar and very cheeky sense of humour,
01:34so the Queen is said to have been left all the more concerned by the apparent change in Harry's
01:40behaviour, believing that her grandson was weak and besotted and would effectively do anything in order
01:47to make Meghan happy, which, as it turns out, made everyone else in his family desperately unhappy.
01:54Harry also crossed a line, according to this biographer, by asking the Archbishop of Canterbury to
01:59conduct his wedding ceremony without going through the proper channels. The Queen is also understood to
02:06have had serious concerns over the dynamic between William and Kate and Meghan and Harry from the get-go.
02:12Up until the point where Harry announced his relationship with Meghan, Harry, Kate and William had become
02:18something of a trio. Yes, Harry was slightly the third wheel, but they had a really wonderful working
02:24relationship. They spent time together, both during engagements, outside of engagements, and they were
02:30working on a lot of mental health initiatives. But all of that went out of the window when Meghan came into the
02:36picture, and that's said to have caused serious issues for the Queen, who believed that Meghan was the issue in that
02:43whole scenario. As for how this biographer, whose name is Sally Bedell Smith, got her information, she claims that she got it
02:50all from the Queen's late cousin, Lady Anson, who revealed to her in a February 2019 phone call that the jury was still out on
02:58Meghan as far as the Queen was concerned, and even that the Queen hadn't quite yet fallen in love with Meghan, and even
03:06believed that she may have engineered this whole scenario and this whole rift with the Royal Family in order to get closer to Harry.
03:13It is really important to note that the Queen did take steps in order to make sure that Meghan felt as much a part of the Royal Family as possible.
03:22I don't think anyone could forget Meghan talking about that wonderful journey that she had with the Queen on a train,
03:28where the two of them got to bond and really got close to one another.
03:32And the Queen was able to repair that relationship with Harry before her death.
03:37She was never one to hold a grudge, and as I said, she and Harry always had a very strong bond.
03:43Many people within the Queen's inner circle said that all she really wanted for Harry was for him to mend his relationship with his family members,
03:50and she was very clear that no issue, no argument, no anything should ever get in the way of that familial bond.
03:57And speaking of Harry, he actually made a surprise appearance on the East Coast very recently,
04:03when he appeared at an event in New York and opened up about why he and Meghan have such a vested interest in social media,
04:11and making it a safe place for everyone involved.
04:15Harry discussed the hardships that he says his wife went through at the beginning of their relationship,
04:20describing her as the most trolled person in the world during that time.
04:26Now, some of you who are keen royal watchers like myself may remember that when Harry and Meghan first started dating,
04:34Harry broke all royal protocols when he issued a press release not only confirming that he and Meghan were dating,
04:41but effectively telling the world's media to back off his girlfriend,
04:45accusing several publications of trolling her, of criticising her unnecessarily,
04:51and of even publishing articles that had a racist undertone.
04:56In the years since, Harry and Meghan have both been incredibly open about the mental health toll
05:01that all of this criticism took on Meghan, even revealing a few years ago that Meghan was on the brink of
05:08suicide over the amount of hatred that she was receiving from the public.
05:12Now, while Prince Harry was making an appearance in New York City, over in London all eyes are on Wimbledon,
05:20and all hopes are pegged on a potential appearance by Princess Kate,
05:26who recently missed an event at Ascot where she was supposed to appear alongside her husband.
05:32Even though Kensington Palace was very, very cautious about announcing her absence,
05:38it understandably raised serious concerns among her fans and supporters about whether Kate had
05:44taken a step back in her health journey. However, many people are hoping that she will once again
05:50surprise and delight spectators at the annual tennis event by making an appearance in the Royal Box.
05:57Kate is known to be a huge fan of the sport of tennis, and she has been a patron of Wimbledon for
06:04many years now. However, it's not just Kate that people are hoping to catch a glimpse of,
06:09but also her incredible courtside fashion. Every year she pulls out an amazing outfit,
06:16sometimes several amazing outfits, and of course many people will be hoping that she may arrive
06:21at the famed sporting event with one or more of her children, whose reactions we all love seeing
06:27as they watch all of the action on the court.
