00:21it's like to scare New Yorkers this Halloween season. Let's go. I am one of
00:27the special effects makeup artists and airbrush artists. So today Marissa is
00:31going to be in the spider cult room and she is going to be one of the spiderlings
00:35so we're going to be doing an airbrush UV look on her as a spider.

01:20What are our initial reactions?
01:31Heart rate is still up for dinner. They did a good job switching things up. It's a lot different from last year.
01:37I just finished scaring people for the very first time and it was amazing. I'm here with Jim Lorenzo who is the owner of Blood Manor.
01:45There's 22 rooms and there's anywhere between 40 and 50 actors, you know, depending on the night.
01:51And then we also have actors outside.
01:53Why do you think people like to be scared?
01:55I think people like the rush. You know, their heart gets pumping. I think it's the excitement.
02:02Do you think New Yorkers are like tough to scare or do you think they're easy to scare like everybody else?
02:06You know, New Yorkers are unique in the sense that they've kind of seen and experienced a lot of different things.
02:12So we feel that, you know, giving them an opportunity to kind of let go and just kind of like getting engulfed into what we do is something that we enjoy.
02:22And what would you say is like your favorite part of the experience every night that you get to see?
02:26Getting to see people's reactions. You know, getting to see people scared, screaming, hollering, laughing, pee in their pants, all of the above.
02:34Now I know why people come back every Halloween. Sorry, not sorry to everyone I scared tonight.
