00:00We are here with Georgia from Next Gen NYC, which is my new favorite show on Bravo.
00:04I think it's so, so good.
00:07You know, did you ever think you'd be on reality TV?
00:09What made you decide to sign on to this?
00:12Not many people know this, but I went to film school and I thought I'd be behind the camera.
00:18I literally have said this a million times.
00:19I thought I would be behind the camera and I'm in front of the camera, which is really, really weird.
00:23And I did not expect that.
00:25But, you know, life takes you in strange places.
00:27But, yeah, I don't know.
00:29It was like this whole thing was coming about last spring and, like, I didn't have any travel plans for the summer.
00:35And I was like, why not film a reality TV show?
00:38That's so fun.
00:39Did you ever watch any Bravo shows before?
00:41I've seen a little Summer House and I've seen a little Below Deck and I love it.
00:45But I hadn't kept up with, like, the new seasons.
00:49But, yeah, that's kind of, like, most of my exposure with Bravo.
00:53Awesome.
00:53Well, I think you have such an interesting background.
00:55Can you talk a bit about what it was like working on Anna Delvey's house arrest part?
00:59People love, yeah, this is, I know, I knew, see, okay, I will give myself this.
01:04When I came up with the concept, I knew if it was executed well, it would be talked about for years to come in interviews like this.
01:12Anna Delvey's clubhouse arrest party.
01:14She just got released from prison.
01:15We threw a hot nightclub in her house arrest apartment.
01:18And it was actually the hottest party in New York.
01:21So I was really, really proud.
01:23Anna and I had some mutual friends.
01:24And I was just, came up with this idea, like, over lunch with a friend, like, what if we turned her apartment into the hottest nightclub in New York for one night only?
01:33Because she was under house arrest in the East Village.
01:35And my friend loved the idea.
01:38And he introduced me to Anna, like, that week or next week.
01:40And she was, like, super into it.
01:42She was, like, hell yeah, like, why not?
01:44Let's do it.
01:45There was, like, a hundred people on the street, including, like, newscasters trying to, like, break into the apartment.
01:51It was crazy.
01:52And then we had some amazing, like, friends DJ, like, Frost Children, Alice Longu Gao.
01:58It was also the funniest mix of people in attendance.
02:01It was, like, Cynthia Rowley with, like, Kat Marnell with, like, Models with me.
02:06Like, so, and it was a really, really fun party.
02:10Like, I was, like, about to take my top off, like, dancing on the speaker.
02:14Are you still in touch with Anna?
02:15Like, did you see her on Dancing with the Stars?
02:17I did.
02:18I mean, she's, like, we did the party.
02:20We, like, stay in touch.
02:21But, I mean, I've been, she was in, she did her, the remainder of her house arrest in upstate with Kelly Catrone.
02:28And then I honestly have to, like, I need to reach out.
02:31I, like, need to see how that girl's doing.
02:33The Bravo kids are very used to being in front of cameras.
02:35You know, were they helpful through the process and getting used to everything?
02:39It's a good question.
02:40I think, you know what?
02:43I think it was new for everyone because although they had been on Bravo before, this was the first time they were doing their own show that they were leading in.
02:52You know what I mean?
02:53So this was definitely, like, a new experience for them as well.
02:55Like, were they responsible for, you know, showing up and filming and, like, whatever and just, you know, showing up.
03:04So it was kind of new for everyone in a sense.
03:08Brooks' mom was giving really good advice just, like, about, you know, getting comments after the show comes out and sort of, like, just, you know, how to make the most of the opportunity and, like, blah, blah, blah.
03:21So she was great just to get advice from.
03:23But it was genuinely, like, I think, like, a new experience for everyone.
03:27So we were all kind of, like, trial by fire.
03:29There's some drama early on that starts between you and Riley when you tell her that you don't always wash your hands.
03:33I don't really believe in that.
03:36I'm pro-germs.
03:38I don't know if you're serious or not.
03:39I'm dead ass.
03:40So you don't wash your hands?
03:42No, I was, like, the kid in New York City eating candy off the sidewalk.
03:45Do you think she was being a little too hard on you with that?
03:48I mean, I think the thing, okay, so first of all, there was a lot of alcohol in my system.
03:54But, uh, no, I mean, I think for me it was just, like, that was the, literally my first time meeting her.
04:00And I was just surprised that someone, even if they were harboring those feelings, would actually, like, call someone out.
04:07Like, we're in the bathroom and she, like, is, like, standing in front of me, like, you're not going to wash your hands.
04:12And I'm like, okay, like, I just met you.
04:14I'm honestly someone who's, like, low-key, I'd rather you talk me behind my back.
04:19I know.
04:20Like, honestly.
04:21I don't want to know.
04:22You know what I mean?
04:23Because then it's, like, I don't know.
04:24It's, like, classic New Yorker, right?
04:26Like, you grew up here what you're used to.
04:28Yeah, my mom was, like, dying laughing when that episode came out because she's like, you've always been like this.
04:33You were the healthiest kid.
04:34You were a nail-biter and we lived in New York City.
04:36There was no way you weren't going to have germ exposure and tons of it.
04:40I'm very healthy, so.
04:42I stand by it.
04:43Well, Riley and Charlie have also been feuding the last few episodes.
04:46As one of Charlie's closest friends, do you find it hard to defend him sometimes?
04:51Yes, absolutely.
04:54I mean, it's also Charlie's, like, a tough cookie where, like, it's very hard to, like, verbally go against him.
05:04It's honestly better that I just don't say anything.
05:07I don't know.
05:07It was stressful, honestly, like, during the process where he was doing and saying things I didn't really agree with.
05:15But on the one hand, I'm getting pushback from him and these really outrageous expectations of, like, loyalty, like, unwavering, even though we're in this setting and I don't agree with him.
05:26Would you consider him, like, the show's villain this season?
05:30I think so.
05:31Oh, I feel like everyone, we were getting asked this before the show aired, everyone's, like, who do you think the villain's going to be?
05:37Everyone was, like, Charlie, like, without a second thought.
05:42I think everyone, like, I get into, like, beef with people later on.
05:47It's highs and lows for everyone, but I'd say, like, consistently.
05:53Consistently, Charlie's in the hot seat.
05:55Well, you revealed that one of his first girlfriends was Lindsay Lohan.
05:58Yeah, like, Charlie has dated quite the repertoire of women.
06:02One of his first was with Lindsay Lohan.
06:05She would, like, pick me up from school.
06:06Oh, yeah, my high school loved that s***.
06:08I mean, how did he break that news to you?
06:10Was there anything else to it?
06:12Oh, my God.
06:12I don't remember.
06:14I...
06:15He doesn't...
06:17To him, it's so, like, in his past, you know what I mean?
06:20Like, he doesn't talk about it that often.
06:22He's not, like, picking up girls saying he dated Lindsay Lohan.
06:26And it's honestly, like, he said it, I think, completely in passing.
06:30And he said just, like, oh, well, you know, Lindsay, blah, blah.
06:33And I'm, like, who's...
06:35And, like, my friend's, like, he's talking about Lindsay Lohan.
06:37He just, like, it's not a thing to him.
06:39I guess if you're, you know, friends with somebody, then you don't look at them like...
06:42Yeah, exactly.
06:43They're Lindsay Lohan, you know, like everybody else.
06:45It's, like, yeah, and Charlie's actually genuinely, like, not that, like, cloudy or, like, cloudy.
06:51You know what I mean?
06:51I think he more pursues people with, like, wealth than with, like, fame, I've noticed.
06:56So, I don't think...
06:57He, like, doesn't care about Lindsay Lohan at all.
07:00I don't know.
07:01He doesn't.
07:02In a preview for next week's episode, your friendship seems to take a turn with Charlie.
07:06He calls you stupid, delusional, not so very nice words.
07:11And claims you wouldn't be on the show if it weren't for him.
07:13You have no idea the amount of money I've spent in the past few weeks.
07:16I know how much his dad gives him for months.
07:18How much does he get every month?
07:21You're a stupid, delusional bitch, Georgia.
07:23Was that in direct response to you outing his monthly allowance?
07:26Like, what can you say about that?
07:28The argument comes up from, like, possibly the stupidest thing you could possibly imagine.
07:33I won't spoil what it is, but it's really silly.
07:36The whole, how this argument came to fruition.
07:39And, like, he's absolutely right.
07:40I would not be on the show without him.
07:41That was my first time ever, like, standing up for myself to Charlie, genuinely.
07:46And, like, I've always in the past just let so much slide with him.
07:50And I remember all day I knew I was going to see him.
07:52And I had a feeling we were either going to not talk about it all or it was going to come up.
07:57And I, like, emotionally prepared myself.
07:59Like, okay, like, if this comes up and he says anything, I'm standing up for myself this time.
08:06And I did.
08:06So, as a fourth generation New Yorker, you said you're the most cutout person for New York that you've ever met.
08:12Not to, like, toot my own horn, but I genuinely feel like I am one of the most cutout people for New York that I've ever met.
08:21Oh, did I say that?
08:22That's bold.
08:24Well, I was going to say, what do you base that judgment on besides yourself?
08:27Who in your cast, you know, is the most cutout for the city and who is the least?
08:30I don't know if I'm the most cutout in New York history.
08:33I don't know.
08:34That's a little bold statement, but I don't know.
08:36I consider myself very adaptable, very, like, nine lives, you know what I mean?
08:42I think also, like, New York is crazy.
08:45It's loud.
08:46It's dirty.
08:48It's, like, it's just overwhelming.
08:51And I love it.
08:52Like, that gives me energy, you know what I mean?
08:54Like, I didn't leave Manhattan Island for, like, two years at one point.
08:58Like, honestly.
08:58Wow.
08:59Like, and I didn't feel like I needed to at all, and I feel like everyone needs to touch
09:04grass once in a while, but I don't feel that way, honestly.
09:06Like, genuinely, it's never bothered me.
09:08I mean, like, Charlie's also a New Yorker.
09:10I think he's, he's, he handles it well.
09:13He's, he's meant for the city, I would say.
09:15I think Ava's very much meant for New York, too.
09:18I'd say, like, Ariana was, like, the freshest person to New York, but I think she handled it
09:24really well, honestly.
09:26I would say, like, honestly, if anyone, like, Amira doesn't walk or take public transport,
09:31I think that's bizarre, honestly.
09:33In the first episode, we saw you comb your hair with a fork.
09:35Are there any other life hacks that you can share with us?
09:39That was, like, your Ariel moment?
09:40Oh, my God.
09:41Your little mermaid moment?
09:42Like, I do not condone using a fork to brush your hair.
09:45I just was really in a pinch.
09:47Like, I was late for an event.
09:48I could not, my apartment was a mess.
09:50I couldn't find my hairbrush anywhere, so I was, like, a fork, and then started combing
09:56my hair.
09:56I didn't know it'd be in, like, every preview and every trailer and be part of my identity
10:01now.
10:02But, yeah, no, I don't have many other hacks.
10:06You shouldn't take advice from me.
10:08Can I say that it's nice to see somebody go out to a club and have red wine?
10:13Because I do the same exact thing, and I feel like everyone else always wants the shot
10:16or the hard liquor, but you have the wine, you're out there partying, dancing.
10:20I love it.
10:21I am, I, like, only drink red wine.
10:24I don't drink liquor.
10:25I hate beer.
10:26I'm absolutely going to have a glass of red wine in my hand as often as possible.
10:32Not many clubs have good, like, wine menus because people don't want to drink wine at
10:38the club, I guess.
10:39Yeah, they get the cheap stuff.
10:39I'm like, why the heck not?
10:40I mean, it is, like, very precocious to totter around with a glass of red wine in the club.
10:46Yes, and you never seem like you spill it.
10:48I mean, you're a pro.
10:49I practice.
10:50She's around her apartment dancing with a glass.
10:52I practice, yeah.
10:53Full glass.
10:54I'm at the club with a glass of red wine enough.
10:57I can handle it.
