00:00I'm so excited to talk to you, especially because live shows are kicking off next week.
00:03How have you been preparing for your performance?
00:06And is there anything you can tease about what we're going to see?
00:09Well, I can tell you that you're definitely going to see a different genre.
00:16We've been working on some new stuff, practicing a lot.
00:22It's been nerve wracking trying to figure out what song we're doing.
00:25But we're all really excited.
00:30It's going to be a bigger show, sort of a bigger production than last time, which I'm really excited about.
00:40Oh, that's exciting.
00:41Because last time was a pretty big production, I would say.
00:55We're Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, so we like to be a little extra.
01:02Well, do you guys have any pre-show rituals?
01:04And if so, what are they?
01:07I think we all just go through our music.
01:13We all sort of like huddle around.
01:15We all like rub each other on the back and say, got your back, got your back.
01:18You know, so we all just realize that like, you know, it's just a constant reminder that we're out there together and that we were always looking out for each other.
01:28You're always touring even beyond AGT.
01:30What are your must-haves on your tour rider?
01:33Hmm.
01:35My biggest thing is just like tea with honey.
01:38Um, I also, I like to, I like to melt gummy bears in with my tea and honey because like the gelatin, the gelatinous of the, of the gummy bears melts into the tea and it coats your vocal cords.
01:54Because we're, we do sometimes anywhere between 20 to 24 songs a show.
02:00And, you know, especially with this upcoming tour, we have like days, we have five shows, sometimes six shows in a row.
02:08So it can be a pretty hard.
02:12Yeah.
02:14I've never heard of that, that method.
02:16Now I'm like, I want to try it just for fun.
02:18I believe I got that from, um, I said, I think Chad Kruger from Nickelback does it.
02:24You got four yeses from the judges in your audition.
02:26Now it's going to largely be up to America's boat.
02:28How are you feeling about that?
02:30Um, I'm, I'm nervous.
02:33I'm excited.
02:34I know that the people that were, you know, that are going to be performing in these live shows are all really, really talented.
02:42So, you know, I'm just honored to be among those, among such amazing talent.
02:49So, um, yeah, I've never been in this situation before.
02:53So it's, it's a new thing for me.
02:55Tom Schwartz, he was in the audience for your audition.
02:58You said Kristen Doty reached out to you about your performance afterward.
03:01Have you heard from any of your other former castmates?
03:03And will we see anyone else making a cameo in the audience during these live shows?
03:07Um, I'm not sure.
03:08I'm having my family come out.
03:10Um, I, you know, we'll have my girlfriend there.
03:13I'm not, I don't know.
03:14We'll see.
03:15I've been so focused on just getting ready for it that I haven't even thought about that.
03:19But, but yeah, um, we'll definitely have some people there for sure.
03:24One of the first shows you did post Vanderpump was, uh, Special Forces, World's Toughest
03:28Test, and you made it almost to the very end.
03:30What was your reaction to hearing that Britney participated in season four?
03:34And did she reach out to you for any advice?
03:36Um, I didn't speak to her about it.
03:38Um, but I'm excited for her.
03:41It's definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done.
03:46Um, on the season we were on after watching it back.
03:49I'm sure you can ask all the people that were there.
03:51It was way harder than it looks.
03:54Uh, there's so much stuff that they put you through that you don't see on TV.
04:00Um, so I, I wish her the best of luck or, I mean, I don't know if she did it.
04:06I'm sure she probably already filmed it or whatever, but I hope she did really well.
04:10And it's really just about testing yourself, you know?
04:14Yeah, for sure.
04:15I, I mean, that image of Jojo Siwa carrying you is just one that replays every time I
04:21think of the show.
04:22That was, you were on a really great season.
04:25Oh, I, I, I agree.
04:26I loved our season.
04:27I loved our cast.
04:28There have also been some rumblings that we could see you on the Valley in the future.
04:32Is there anything you can say about that?
04:34Is that something you'd be open to doing?
04:35Or is that kind of reality TV kind of part of your past now?
04:39Well, it's, it's always nice to be asked to do something like that.
04:41But for right now, um, I'm really just focusing on other aspects of my life.
04:48Um, but you never know.
04:49You never know.
04:50It always popped in someday.
04:52Yeah.
04:53Um, well, as we know, Jax announced his exit from the Valley.
04:56Where does your friendship with, with him stand currently?
04:59And do you think it was the right move for him to kind of step away?
05:02Um, I actually just saw Jax yesterday.
05:05Um, went and saw a movie together.
05:07Um, we're, we're doing good.
05:09I mean, I'm just, I'm, I'm really just trying to support there.
05:13Be a good friend with him as he, uh, as he tries and he gets the help that he needs.
05:18And, and, um, just, I just wish him all the best.
05:22Yeah.
05:23What movie did you guys see?
05:24That's just me being curious.
05:26We went and saw, uh, Freaky Friday.
05:29Oh, is it good?
05:30I haven't seen it yet.
05:31I, I liked it.
05:32I, I laughed a lot.
05:34No, I also want to say that the Tom Sandoval kind of redemption arc, I feel like really
05:38struck with the Traders.
05:40What, what did you feel about, you know, all the support you got from Traders fans this
05:45past season?
05:46It was really, really nice and refreshing.
05:50And, um, yeah, it, it, it definitely brought like a, back a sense of, of confidence.
05:58And, um, I just, I, I love, I love doing shows like that.
06:04So, I'm going to continue to do more, hopefully.
06:08And, yeah, it's a fun ride.
06:11And I'm glad to see that people are, are, like, watching me, um, in those types of situations.
06:17On top of everything you're doing, you also did House of Villains.
06:20Is there anything you can say about that experience?
06:23Yeah, House of Villains.
06:24It was awesome.
06:25It might've been one of my favorite or my favorite experience as far as being on competition
06:31shows.
06:31It was really cool.
06:33You have such a different group of people coming together, you know, and then it's like,
06:38just, I don't know.
06:40In a sense, you feel, I think you feel more of a sense of control over like your outcome
06:46and what, um, you know, what kind of show it's going to be for yourself.
06:52That's what I really liked about it.
06:54We have BravoCon coming up again in November.
06:57Will we see you there?
06:58Or, you know, would you be open to even performing, maybe?
07:02Um, we're still talking about that.
07:04And, yeah, you're probably going to see me there.
07:06Yeah.
