00:00well first of all i was very very nervous about doing agt to begin with i felt like it was just
00:06a license to be you know to get just picked apart and um you know and and just giving the trolls
00:14ammunition and i i didn't want to do it at first but then you know knowing what an opportunity it
00:20is for you know my band who has been there for me through like the hardest times of my life
00:26um i just i couldn't say no so i i really wanted to do it you know it's a great
00:30just a great platform for them and and for obviously for myself too but um i couldn't go
00:36and tell them that i i don't want to do it because i'm too worried about the the backlash or the or
00:41the trolls so i was like i i gotta do it and i'm so glad i did it was the scariest stage to go on
00:47obviously it's you know there has been such incredible talent that has been on that stage
00:53i mean the guy that won last year you know had an incredible voice um you know he's a janitor
01:00and he just his story is so great it's so amazing that's what i love about that show is it's just
01:05there's so many different people so many different acts from all different walks of of life and from
01:10all different places and and they just it's but it's like the biggest stage it's the biggest stage
01:16obviously by far we've ever been on and uh and being in front of simon cowell and then also like
01:25mel b sophia and and um and howie mendel it's it's just it's it's crazy and it's very scary and but
01:34it's also really it's it's a really cool experience you know you're backstage and we're sitting there
01:38watching the acts i'm like next to these acrobats and next to these like people that are all dressed as
01:44cats um and you know just next to all different kinds of you know i got this guy with an oversized
01:53cowboy hat on like there's just uh just such a wide variety it's just such a a crew of a crew of
02:00variety and it was just it was just a really cool experience being there and being backstage and then
02:06going on there and and just everything about it the production of it you know i'm just happy to be
02:12there i i feel so lucky to just be there to be among such great acts and such great talent so you
02:18know anything after this and and honestly in all honesty is just a bonus you know to win would just
02:24be that you know you know i don't know i doubt something like that would happen um just to be realistic
02:32i mean we're gonna obviously do our best and we're gonna like really go out there and have fun and do
02:37do us but really that's up to america that's up to everyone else um i'm just happy to be there
02:45and to continue this journey as long as i can if we win that would be insanely amazing but i mean
02:53we're going up against some pretty pretty amazing acts
