00:11water rescue scenes um yeah no it was cool um you know they had me kayaking and whenever they say
00:17the harbor of anything water is typically not that clean a little bit of a germaphobe so i was like
00:24oh man i i wonder how this is going to work and the kayaking stuff was awesome that was great and
00:30easy to do and they they're such pros and they're like all right it's time to get in the water they're
00:34gonna rescue you i'm like oh man and they're like and he said you're probably not gonna have a hard
00:39time floating because there's so much stuff in the water you'll just be floating on top
00:46it was quick and painless and the water was actually warm which was great part of the main
00:51cast had to jump in the water as well um so i didn't feel too bad about it um yeah mr bruceman saved you

01:07yes he saved me that's how we met him we hadn't even met until he swam over to grab me like hey dude
01:12i did want to ask what it was like working uh with the 911 cast is there anyone you really hit it off
01:17with and crucially were you able to schedule a dinner with angela bassett for your wife
01:21starring angela bassett i know that was my whole thing i was like you get in there and be friends
01:29with angela bassett so we can all have dinner no i didn't get i didn't get to see her everything we
01:37did was off you know it was on another set but i will say from top to bottom um the cast was really
01:45lovely such pros um you know be you know when your guest star on a show you never know what's
01:50going to be like especially since it's since it's such an established show and they have their own
01:55rhythms and you just kind of want to be you don't want to get in the way you kind of just want to do
01:58your work and and and not be hindrance to anybody and they were amazing um really really welcoming and
02:07lovely and kind and they made me feel at home right away your character uh trip spent a hundred
02:15million to send four real housewives to space you spent 100 million dollars to send four real
02:21housewives and miss universe into space it's not just the polls trip so i know you and your family
02:27are bravo fans do you have a personal roster if you had to send four real housewives to space
02:33oh my gosh um let me see uh proof i would take well i wouldn't i i can't say who exactly who i
02:41choose but i probably take one from each of the shows kind of like those those girls trips that they
02:48do maybe i'll grab somebody from summer house i don't know i know you guys are uh very close with
02:53andy cohen how do you think he would fare in space oh my god he'd be amazing he it would be a reunion up
02:59in space uh if anything went wrong he'd figure out how to get home um for sure um yeah no he'd be
03:07hilarious in space i think he would love zero gravity and was that ever a dream of yours uh space would
03:13you say yes i would be stupid to say no i think yeah um i am a little claustrophobic um but you know
03:21the space trips they're taking now are not that long i don't think um and i fly in planes you know you
03:27know long trip i'm on the plane for 10 hours at a time sometimes 12 hours at a time so i don't seem
03:32to have a problem with that so i'd be i'd probably be a little hesitant but um it definitely would be
03:39something i'd want to do well your wife uh kelly recently said that trip the tech billionaire was
03:44her fantasy role for you did she have any notes on your performance what was it like for her to watch
03:50episode she loved it she absolutely loved it um we had a huge laugh when i got eaten by the whale
03:57i've got the telomeres of a 22 year old gymnast i will eat them for
04:09and trip is ridiculous um someone was you know then that's why i really fell in love with the job
04:15and i decided to do it because the writing they gave me and the character that i gave like to
04:20sink my teeth in and kind of make my own and um have some fun with but yeah i think you know in
04:26episode two you'll get to know trip a little bit more uh and just see how flawed he is um
04:34and somehow his decision making isn't always the most sound i know uh you guys recently had chris
04:40o'donnell on live so would you be open to potential guest role on nine oh no nashville trip going to
04:46tennessee why not yeah that'd be cool i'm trying to figure out how that would work and how they would
04:52write that in given that trip is really pretty much messed up you know yeah every way he possibly can
04:59especially by by episode two but hey never say never i would love to do it i always like to ask the
05:069-1-1 guest stars if you had a favorite memory from set or a favorite scene you were in i would
05:11say this is that the cast is amazing like i said they're really really great but that crew's been
05:16together for a long long time um and they work really hard because they do 9-1-1 does some crazy
05:23things and it's not it's it's not easy to do what they do um but they're that they're like it's like a
05:30well-oiled machine and everybody's positive and they just move through it and um i have to say that
05:37i've been on a show that does not landish things this show is even takes bigger swings i would say
05:43um and they're able to do it week to week and after what nine seasons that's amazing it's really
05:49so i think i think my my favorite experience is just kind of say seeing witnessing a crew that's
05:55you know really really happy to be working together and um you know from from role to
06:01role they all get along really well and they they have a big job to do trip is back on 901 next week
06:06what can you tease about episode three and sort of the conclusion of this opening emergency the
06:10conclusion that like i said anything that could go wrong with this launch and in them in space goes
06:16wrong and it just doesn't space affects if that's earth in a massive massive way um trip is humbled
06:25uh to know that his tech is so obvious you know he has to go to some obsolete tech
06:31to save you know the spacecraft and you know some satellites have been up there for decades yeah
06:37lights um and then i think he gets his comeuppance in in episode three he kind of loses more than he
06:45really plans on losing
