00:05Rita, diplomacy is personal, and it always has been throughout world history.

00:10Of course, objective factors matter, force matters, but negotiation is a human process,

00:17and it can be an emotional process, and I think Donald Trump really understands that.

00:22I think Marco Rubio understands it, and I think Steve Witkoff clearly understands that as well.

00:30What do you make of this peace deal?

00:33It is certainly the most significant of the eight Donald Trump has signed

00:37or been a part of in his second term,

00:41but the pressure on this to be an enduring peace deal is enormous.

00:46Can you see this lasting?

00:48Can you see the involvement of the Arab world ensuring that this has the best chance to succeed?

00:57Rita, I really don't know.

00:58Now that their living hostages have been retrieved,

01:02I don't know how much appetite Israel has to go back in there and resume fighting with Hamas.

01:09And as far as the other Middle Eastern countries, the other Islamic countries are concerned,

01:14I just don't know who in that group has the wherewithal to go into Gaza,

01:18go into those tunnels and do battle with terrorists who look like civilians.

01:24I think it's very hard to see what the future holds.

01:29For now, the Hamas is basically just continuing to oppress people in Gaza.

01:34And as long as it stays that way, I'd be surprised if the Israelis do very much about it.

01:39Now, this next story made headlines across the country when a former Doge staffer,

01:48Edward Corustein, who was known as Big Balls, he was brutally bashed in D.C.

01:55His attackers now, John, have dodged jail, thanks to Associate Judge Kendra Briggs of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

02:05This was a Biden-appointed judge that spared the 15-year-old's jail last week.

02:11And this has outraged so many on the right, including President Donald Trump and Elon Musk,

02:17who posted this was a racist verdict by a racist judge.

02:22The simple test to apply is if the races had been reversed, the white kids would be in prison, equal justice for all.

02:30What do you think about this case, John?

02:32Did race play a part in the decision?

02:34Well, it may have, Rita.

02:37There's an ideology on the left that America is a racist country, that our criminal justice system is racist,

02:44and therefore you have to balance that out by going easy on black defendants.

02:49Now, those premises are not true at all, but it's something that we see again and again and again in these criminal cases.

02:57And criminals get put back out on the streets.

02:59The reality is that there are a lot of judges who seem to have more sympathy for the criminal defendants

03:05than they do for the victims, in particular, when those criminal defendants are black.

03:13Now, before you go, I've got to ask you about former Biden White House Press Secretary, Queen Jean-Pierre.

03:19She has now unleashed on the Democratic Party in her new memoir.

03:24She has written about Joe Biden, her boss's dumping, and she did not hold back.

03:30She said,

03:31I was angry and sad, I was enraged and heartbroken that this man had given more than 50 years of his life

03:38to serving the American people, and in the end, he'd been treated poorly by members of his own party.

03:44It was horrible.

03:45John, she explains that she's now an independent because she just could not stomach being a Democrat

03:51for a minute longer.

03:52Well, Jean-Pierre may call herself an independent, but I don't think she's going to be voting

03:58for any Republicans.

04:00I don't think she'll be that independent.

04:02But, you know, it's hard for me to have a lot of sympathy for her.

04:05She saw Joe Biden every day, and she had to know how badly he had declined late in his

04:13administration.

04:13I think the Democrats should be faulted not for betraying Joe Biden, which is what Jean-Pierre

04:21is upset about, but rather for being willing to run Biden for a second term right up until

04:27the moment when he collapsed on the debate stage, even though they knew that he was not

04:33capable of carrying out the duties of the office.

04:36That's the real scandal here.

04:40That is, and she's still covering for him.

04:43She still seems to be under the impression that the whole world doesn't know about that

04:48cognitive decline, because she did lie about it over and over again.

04:52So many times, got up there and said just he was the sharpest person in the room, and he

04:56was outworking everybody in the administration.

04:59The Democrats are in all sorts of trouble.

05:02Their brand is in the toilet and circling the drain, and things are about to get worse

05:07with a new congressional map in Texas being voted on, and that has Democrat Congresswoman

05:13Jasmine Crockett losing it.

05:14She may even lose her seat.

05:16She's certainly lost all sense of decorum.
