00:00welcome back to decentralized news today's video is looking at teller which is a project that has
00:07a token with the ticker trb and you can find this on different exchanges including binance
00:15okx bingx kucoin wabi global and so many other cryptocurrency exchanges for the best exchange
00:24reviews d5 platform reviews and also nft marketplace reviews go to our main site decentralized dot
00:33news so what is teller so it is described as a decentralized oracle protocol oracles are pretty
00:43much a key part of our blockchain infrastructure that updates valuable off-chain data making it
00:50available for on-chain smart contracts essentially so tell us oracle supplies data that can be
00:57requested validated and also put on-chain permissionlessly with data reporters competing
01:04for incentives of trb so data reporters bring valuable information on chain for a wide range of
01:11d5 applications so what actually makes teller unique the oracle works by incentivizing data
01:20reporters to put valid on chain uh while also incentivizing bad reports via disputes and
01:28what we call slashing so becoming a reporter requires no verification process that is it's
01:35permissionless and anyone anyway would be able to become a reporter using this open soft software
01:42a unique characteristic obviously among blockchain oracle so when an oracle users request um let's say the value of
01:52on-chain or off-chain rather data points for example btc or usd data reporters then complete or compete
02:02rather to add this value to an on-chain data bank accessible by all smart contracts on the network
02:10teller supports which could include ethereum polygon algorand and many others so the frequency with which
02:17this data can be updated is limited only by how much and how often users actually tip the feed with the trb
02:27also unique to teller is uh the fact that data is submitted in bytes meaning the oracle is flexible and robust
02:35for nearly any blockchain or is sort of application right so um what i do like about this uh project
02:44is the fact that you know they do also have this uh native token uh trb tributes basically which is
02:51there to connect and align data reporters uh oracle users and community governance and security is
02:59actually achieved through uh their governance contract which uses a simple dispute mechanism to
03:05achieve community consensus on the data that is being reported so this way um this works uh the way
03:14that actually works is that data reporters must then stake trb in order to report data in earn any rewards
03:22but they can also be disputed and slashed with their stake given to the disputer if the data that they
03:29submitted to the network is deemed incorrect so yeah a very interesting project in terms of what they're
03:37trying to do describing themselves like i said as a decentralized oracle which is transparent
03:42permissionless and uh making it easy for you to get your data wherever you wanted and uh the protocol
03:50is supposed to incentivize an open permissionless network of data reporting and data validation
03:57to make sure that data can be provided by anyone and can also be checked by everybody go to
04:04tello.io which is t-e-l-l-o-r like i said the token is currently available for trading on a number of
04:15different exchanges all of which we have reviewed including binance okx bingx cookcoin
04:22wabi global go to decentralized news you will find all of those exchange reviews to see which are the
04:29best ones if you want to trade these tokens i personally do not hold the trb in my portfolio
04:36but this might be something that you are interested in yourself also make sure you check out the links
04:41to my books and also to our telegram and our discord server don't forget to like share subscribe
04:47turn on the notification bell see you in the next video peace
