Im Jahr 1992 gab die deutsche Rock-Pop-Band Contract ein Livekonzert für den WWF, den Weltnaturschutzfonds. Der Anlass war, das Hauptthema, die Zerstörung und Abholzung des Regenwaldes in Brasilien, zu unterstützen. Unter dem Eindruck der Informationen auf den Infotischen entstand an diesem Tag die folgende Ballade, um auf diese brutale und anhaltende Zerstörung unserer Natur – im Sinne der Zukunft unseres Planeten – aufmerksam zu machen. Der Titel des Liedes lautet „rain upon my heart“. PS: zum aktuellen Video hat der WWF Deutschland Film-Aufnahmen zu Verfügung gestellt.
In year 1992, the German rock pop band Contract performed a live concert for WWF, the worldwide fund for nature. The reason was to support the main subject, the destroying and burning down of the rainforest in Brazil. under the impression of what was shown on the info tables the following ballad- song was written written on that day, to pay attention to this massacre towards our nature- towards the future of our planet. The song is titled “rain upon my heart”.
