The opening track of German rock band CONTRACT's first album release "So Long".

The group fronted by busy and charismatic singer Markus Ball is both, a landmark in the Wiesbaden area music scene as well as more well-known to many people than they might realize at first.
.
Starting out in 1982, the band peaked in the 80s und early 90s, playing shows in front of up to 25,000 people alongside acts such as Joe Cocker, Level 42, Roger Chapman as well as providing the live band for gala performances of Grammy winner Thelma Houston. At the same time they reached a nationwide audience by television appearances in popular shows like "ZDF Fernsehgarten", „Rock Pop Music Hall“, and others.

A collaboration with friend and mentor "Mathou" (Rainer Matuschek) also made CONTRACT the backing band for the television performances of his 1992 hit single "You Never Walk Alone" (which became the titletrack of the ZDF [Germany's national public television] series "Freunde für's Leben" [Friends for Life]).

Furthermore, anybody familiar with 90s Dancefloor music certainly knows the voice of Markus Ball, as he provided lead vocals for the iconic project "Captain Jack", which can be heard on all relevant tracks.

Today, the youth friends from Wiesbaden are back right down to the core, dedicated to handmade rock music and their own artistic work, yet also with a clear focus onto the future. The journey is on!
