Big Fan (Monster Train 2), a publishing label of Devolver Digital, and developer Auroch Digital have released a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the retro FPS. The gameplay in the trailer reveals the new fearless playable character Nyra Veyrath, a battle-hardened sister of the Adepta Sororitas order. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will be released in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Witness Nyra's unstoppable power in the trailer as she leaves nothing but ashes in her wake. Although Nyra does not have the impenetrable armor of a Space Marine, she makes up for it with her agility on the battlefield, dispatching the Emperor's enemies with speed, precision, and blazing flames.
As a Celestian of the Sisters of Battle, an all-female militant order called the Adepta Sororitas within the religious organization of the Imperial Ecclesiarchy, she is an experienced and relentless fighter in the ranks of her order.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 picks up where the first game left off, plunging players into a branching single-player campaign that combines the dark Warhammer 40,000 universe with elements of a fast-paced retro FPS from the 90s. Choose between Sister of the Order Nyra Veyrath or Ultramarine Malum Caedo, arm yourself with devastating new weapons, and leave nothing but bloody, pixelated remains as you storm into battle and destroy heretics and traitors alike. Each warrior has their own unique weapons, abilities, and playstyles.
