00:00Mustapha Shakir, è piaciuto con te, è il nuovo entrato di Luke Cage in season 2
00:07e dicci qualcosa sui caratteristico, Bushmaster
00:11Bushmaster è un'attività molto fondamentale e fondamentale per Luke Cage
00:23è interessante, fondamentale
00:26Fai trovare l'attività, sì
00:29Being in a Marvel movie, in a Marvel series in this case, was one of your dreams
00:35and how is now that you have tasted the Marvel Universe?
00:41Yes, it has definitely been a dream and now that I'm, it's a beginning for me
00:45I think as you go along it becomes more apparent just how expansive Marvel Universe is
00:51and how many people watch it and love it as much as me
00:55So I'm learning every day but it's cool, it really is cool
00:59Marvel Universe has been enriched this year with Black Panther
01:05Yeah
01:06And it's been incredibly important not only for the black community
01:10but to make people understand that there can be a different kind of hero
01:16I think it's entirely true, I think it's important for the world to have many representations of what it means to be an empowered individual
01:25And I think it's a long time coming that a black character gets to stand up and actually be somebody you can look up to
01:31who has a moral compass that, you know, that's aspirational, so to speak
01:39Not only, not only for the black community but for everyone, you know what I mean?
01:44I think that the more that we see each other in empowered positions and we can respect that and be entertained by that, etc.
01:50The better, you know, because it allows for tolerance, you know
01:55And I think that's missing on the earth
01:58The ability to be different but to respect that difference
02:02At home, because you're from Harlem
02:05Yeah
02:06I was working at your place
02:09It's interesting, yeah, to be in Harlem doing the show, but it's cool
02:14Your first job was the barber
02:16Yes, yes, one of my first jobs was a barber
02:19I worked in barbering for seven years
02:22I started at 15
02:24And when I grew up in Harlem in the 80s and 90s
02:27It was when crack and epidemic was there
02:29And it was the way that I could make money without going to jail
02:32And so instead of being a drug dealer, I just cut the drug dealer's hair
02:35And I made more money and I was able to, you know, go to school and keep my nose clean, so to speak
02:40That's why you are looking at my hair
02:42I know, once a barber, always a barber
02:46There's a lot of music in Leo Cage and you are a musician too
02:50Yeah
02:51How much important is music for you?
02:53I think for me it's super important
02:55I mean, music is how you move in and out of dimensions, you know what I mean?
03:00Of self and feeling
03:02It can change your vibe like that
03:05And I think in the show it's super pivotal because there's just a lot of mayhem and craziness going on
03:10And like the same way there are situations that are tough
03:13It's good to have a laugh in the middle of it, even though it's tough
03:16It's good to listen to a good song in the middle of it as well
03:19I think it has that same effect of tonifying, you know?
03:23How was the tone on set during the shootings?
03:28Really supportive
03:31I felt like everybody wanted the same thing
03:35And I was willing to help each other to get it, you know what I mean?
03:38And that collective sense of a goal is always powerful
03:43Thank you so much
03:44Thank you, man
03:45Thank you, man
