00:00I swear there's a phone in my hand. This is the iPhone Air. Not 17 Air, iPhone Air.
00:05And I think the reason why Apple is doing that is because they're trying to redesign the iPhone itself.
00:10And the idea is to give you pro-level features in something that's really pocket-friendly.
00:15And I can tell you that this is super, super thin, and yet it feels durable because it's a titanium design.
00:21And also there's a ceramic shield display and ceramic shield on the back as well.
00:25So Apple claims that this is one of the toughest iPhones they've ever made.
00:28I think we might have to bring back the drop test. Oh wait, we're not going to do that here.
00:33But maybe for the full review.
00:35The iPhone Air comes in four colors.
00:37I really like the blue because it pops most while also showing off the thin profile better than the black.
00:41So what are you getting in terms of specs?
00:43You're getting an A19 Pro chip with one less GPU core than the regular iPhone 17 Pro.
00:50A 6.5-inch display that's 3,000 nits of brightness.
00:53You're getting just one camera, but it's 48 megapixels with a 2x optical zoom.
00:58And up front, you're getting the new center stage camera for selfies, which goes up to 18 megapixels.
01:04And it's smart enough to transition between portrait and landscape mode on the fly.
01:10Oh, cool.
01:10So all of this is packed in a very thin and light design.
01:13I kind of like how durable it feels so far.
01:15As someone who carries around an iPhone 15 Pro Max every day, there's a huge difference in terms of just how this feels in your hand.
01:23I would definitely like slide this into my front pocket.
01:25I usually carry this around in my back pocket.
01:27And it's almost like you're cheating the system a little bit.
01:30The iPhone Air measures 5.6 millimeters thin and weighs 165 grams, which is thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge, but a bit heavier.
01:38Samsung's device is 5.8 millimeters thick and 163 grams.
01:42We're going to have to see about battery life.
01:43They're saying all-day battery life.
01:45So what does that mean?
01:46About 27 hours of video playback, which is good, but not as great as, let's say, the iPhone 17 Pro.
01:52But all in all, I think it could be a hit for those who want something that's super light and super thin that doesn't compromise too much when it comes to features.
02:01The good news is that the iPhone Air starts at $999, which is less than what the rumors were saying.
02:07And I think could be like that right sweet spot for someone who doesn't want to pay for the iPhone 17 Pro Premium, but they still get something with pro-level features.
02:16Tell me what you guys think in terms of the overall value.
02:18Do you think the price is right for the iPhone Air?
02:20Or do you think Apple is charging too much, given what you're getting for the money?

02:40Wait, the chips in here, too?
02:41The chips.
02:42Yeah, I do.
