00:00This was my skin before I started using Korean skincare and this is my skin now.
00:04I'll be showing you a simple five-step Korean skincare routine that you can start with using a plant analogy
00:09so it's easier to understand even if you have zero knowledge of how any of this stuff works.
00:13Step one and two are double cleansing. You can think of it as prepping the soil before planting your seeds.
00:17Start with the Anua oil cleanser to remove sunscreen and dirt and follow up with the foam cleanser to get rid of any leftover buildup.
00:22Remember that no matter how many fancy products you use, if you have a dirty foundation, nothing will work.
00:26Next is the toner. Toner is like watering your garden right after planting your seeds.
00:30It preps the skin and helps everything else absorb better.
00:32This Anua Heart Leaf Toner will be great for hydrating and calming your sensitive skin for your next steps.
00:36The fourth step is the serum. Serum is basically like adding fertilizer to your garden.
00:40But not all fertilizers do the same thing and it goes the same for serums.
00:43Different serums target different skin concerns and the one I'm using here which is the Anua Azelaic Acid Serum
00:47is specifically for soothing acne and fading post-red acne marks.
00:50And the last step is the moisturizer. Think of it as putting a cover over your garden at night.
00:54By doing so, you're keeping the warmth and moisture in and protecting it from harsh weather.
00:57This Anua barrier cream does exactly that while also strengthening your skin barrier to help prevent future breakouts.
01:02And this is the final result.
01:03Now that you know the basics of Korean skincare, try this routine out and let me know how it goes for you.
