Phone Incident The Movie

The video, "Phone Incident The Movie," follows a comedic series of mishaps involving a new cell phone (0:18). Two friends are helping a third friend, Kris, build a shelf when Kris shows them his new phone (0:40). While Kris is briefly out of the room, one friend accidentally drops a hammer on the phone, breaking it (1:34-1:49).   Panicked, they try to hide the broken phone and come up with various ill-conceived plans to fix or dispose of it. Their attempts include trying to trade it in (2:51), losing it (3:21-3:44), stepping on it further (3:44-3:47), and comically trying to melt the screen back together with fire, which only sets the phone ablaze (5:11-5:59). They then try to put out the fire by smashing it with a sledgehammer, making it even more damaged (6:07-6:38).   Ultimately, they manage to conceal the destruction until Kris returns (7:08). However, Kris accidentally sits on the already severely damaged phone, causing it to break completely (7:50-8:01). The friends feign sympathy, claiming Kris's weight caused the damage (8:06-8:12), and quickly leave him to "mourn" his phone (8:19-8:26). The video ends with a series of outtakes and humorous moments from the filming.
