00:00Hawking radiation is the notion that black holes evaporate, losing mass over extreme periods of time and eventually disappearing.
00:10But now, according to researchers at Radboud University in the Netherlands, that might actually happen to everything in the universe eventually.
00:17They say it's not Hawking radiation per se, but something that works very similarly to it.
00:21Black holes evaporate because they are so dense their event horizons, or the threshold around a black hole which nothing can escape from, not even light,
00:28caused fluctuations in quantum fields, causing them to emit particles in the form of a cool light.
00:34But now the Radboud University research team says they've been able to mathematically produce the same evaporation in pretty much everything in the universe,
00:41using a similar radiation but one that manifests in electrical fields rather than black holes, and involves the curvature of space-time.
00:48All incredibly massive objects produce a bend in space-time, meaning fluctuations in the quantum field, just like black holes.
00:55With the researchers explaining, quote,
00:57And after a very long period, that would lead to everything in the universe eventually evaporating, just like black holes.
01:03This changes not only our understanding of Hawking radiation, but also our view of the universe and its future.
01:09This is the main study of Hawking reality, which we have great .
01:11This is a measure of how to apply it in einzel2 weeks of their body.
01:13Now let's see here.
01:14We're here to actually take advantage of the world of the world of the world of black holes and everything else.
01:15This is the measure of the sun on the moon and the moon.
01:16We're here to continue with the sun on the moon.
01:17You were here to just take advantage of the sun.
01:19In the sun, we're here to be here.
01:20You're here to be here.
01:22OK, you're here to be here.
01:23OK, love your hand.
01:24Just try not to remember.
01:25Check out the airway to the sun.
01:26And you're here to thiele of the sun.
01:27You're here to be here.
01:28Thank you, actually to be here.
01:29You're here to be here.
