00:00My name is John and today, I am deep inside one of the most dangerous forests of New Zealand around me.
00:06There is endless silence mixed with the sound of wind touching the trees and the strange voices of wild animals.
00:12The air smells like wet soil, old leaves and fresh rain.
00:16Everything here feels alive as if the forest itself is breathing and watching every single step I take.
00:22I came here to face a new challenge, the challenge to survive completely.
00:26A low no tent no tools only my hands some, with a few big square boards and a pile of wet clay.
00:32I am using them to build a small bunker where I can stay safe during the night from the wild.
00:38Animals that move around this place when I touch the cold, ground or lift a heavy log out.
00:43Can feel how raw nature is it reminds me that survival is not only about muscle strength it is also about patience focus and mental power.
00:56Nature is the greatest teacher if you try to fight, if you will lose but if you learn to move, with its rhythm it becomes your protection that is why I love camping and survival challenges they are not only adventure, they are lessons that train the mind to stay calm in fear and chaos.
01:20Nature is for one of those of us.
01:47when you are alone in the jungle and there is no one to talk to you start hearing your own thoughts
01:56more clearly you start meeting your real self people often ask me john why do you take such
02:01dangerous trips and i always tell them because only here i feel alive every drop of rain every
02:07gust of cold air every sound of an unknown creature pushes me to test my limits at first i feel fear
02:13but soon that fear becomes my motivation to keep going when you walk in nature long enough you
02:18understand its language the whisper of the leaves the flowing river the singing of birds and the
02:23smell after rain i'll tell you one simple truth life is beautiful
02:43when you truly feel it we just forgot to listen back in the city we run behind time and noise
03:01forgetting what peace actually means but when you stop in a quiet jungle like this when you sit and
03:06breathe in the middle of nature every breath feels powerful every heartbeat reminds you that you are
03:12part of something much bigger and pure i want everyone who is watching this
03:42video to understand that camping is not only fun or thrill it is a way to rebuild yourself it
04:01teaches you how to live with less and still while it tells you that happiness is not in comfort but in
04:07courage and awareness every challenge we face herein the wild makes us stronger inside
04:12tonight i will stay in this small bunker made of wood soil and big square boards
04:17maybe i will hear the cry of a valfour the roar of a distant animal maybe the wind will shake
04:22the walls of this shelter but i will not be afraid because fear is also a friend it keeps you alert and
04:36alive i will sit near my small fire listen to the night and let the forest talk to me this is the
04:42real meaning of survival to accept the unknown to face your fear and turn it into strength out here
04:47i am not escaping life i am learning how to live it
04:51now my bunker is completely ready this small shelter made of clay wood and my own hard work is the
05:12biggest relief for me in this cold dark night as i stepped inside the earthy smell of wet clay mixed
05:17with the faint warmth of the wood changed the entire atmosphere outside the cold wind is blowing
05:22fiercely but inside it is slowly getting warm and cozy i carefully built a small chimney in the corner
05:29of the bunker i made it using a wooden frame and a thick layer of wet clay so that the warmth stays
05:35inside and the smoke flows out smoothly in this chimney i have placed small dry pieces of wood that are
05:41slowly catching fire the gentle crackling sound and the subtle smoky smell remind me that i am
05:46moving in the right direction and that this place will protect me tonight this chimney is the most
05:52important part of the bunker it keeps the cold forest air away and allows me to stay warm even a
05:57slight breeze outside would feel freezing if i did not build it the clay layer does not block the smoke
06:03but directs it carefully through a small path so the temperature inside remains balanced and comfortable
06:09now it is time to prepare food i carefully took some thick branches of pipel tree using my knife
06:15between these branches one placed a few matchsticks so that the fire could catch easily slowly i arranged
06:21them to make a small stove my very own forest kitchen i then took some pieces of meat that i had
06:27cleaned and cut them into small chunks i placed them carefully into a kettle and added enough water to
06:32make it boil this will be my warm meal after a long day of hard work the smell of boiling meat mixing with
06:38the warmth of the chimney gives a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction cooking in such
06:44a wild environment is not just about eating it becomes a way to connect with the forest every movement
06:50every careful step reminds me that survival is not only physical but mental it is about patience
06:56observation and adapting to your surroundings after setting up the kettle i went outside the bunker and
07:02collected some more pieces of dry wood i made small holes and spaces to allow air to flow and carefully
07:08built a handmade sigdi this small fire pit made of wood stone and clay is the heart of my jungle kitchen
07:14i lit the fire and place the kettle on top the flames crackle gently sending warmth all around the smoke
07:20rising from under the kettle and the faint glowing fire in the dark forest night looks like a tiny hope
07:25the meat slowly boils and the aroma spreads through the air every small detail from the flickering fire to the
07:31gentle heat reminds me that true comfort is found where you build your own shelter and create your own meal
07:37this is not just cooking it is the taste of my own effort and hard work wood clay sweat and patience
07:43these are the real spices of this night and as i watch the kettle boil slowly above the handmade fire i
07:49realized this is the real meaning of survival facing the unknown and turning fear into strength
07:54the fire in the small sigdi is still burning softly and the warm light from the flames makes everything
08:06around look peaceful i take out the vegetables i brought with me and start cutting them carefully
08:11using my knife the sound of the knife hitting the wooden board mixes with the crackling of the fire the
08:17forest feels alive now i place a flat pan on the sigdi the metal warms up slowly and i add a little
08:23oil the moment the oil touches the pan it makes a sharp sizzling sound i drop the chopped vegetables
08:28into it and stir them gently the smell fills the air making this cold night feel more homely
08:34after a few minutes i take the pan off the fire and pour everything into a small plate the colors of
08:39the vegetables look bright and beautiful to add a fresh touch i cut some green coriander and sprinkle
08:45it on top the plate now looks perfect full of life and color i take a bite and smile
08:50the taste is amazing a mix of smoke fire and nature all together i whisper softly this is real food
08:56made by my own hands feeling full and happy i sit near the warm fire for a while listening to the
09:02quiet sounds of the forest the night feels calm and safe i slowly lie down inside my bunker close my eyes
09:09and say softly we will meet again in the next video stay connected and keep exploring
