00:08Yeah, it was an enjoyable night. Obviously, first and foremost, we got the win,
00:12which was very needed at this moment in time. So, yeah, the squad were very happy.
00:19Do you feel like tonight was a real test of character in a way?
00:22Going a goal down, a lot of questions asked at half-time, and as a squad, you've come through it?
00:26Yeah, I think as a squad, we know we've got that mentality that if we go a goal down,
00:31we've got to keep believing, especially in the place that we are now.
00:35Sort of a never-give-up motto.
00:37You could tell by the way we played, especially the last 30, we were pushing for the win
00:41and ultimately got the goals and won the game, which is what we want.
00:46We'll come on to your goal and assist in a minute, but just how important was that first one
00:50and a great moment for Gibral Samari as well?
00:53Yeah, definitely. I think we've just had a bit of banter with him.
00:54I don't think he's gone down as his goal, but, yeah, great for him.
00:58He's a great lad and, yeah, buzzing for him.
01:02In terms of yours, though, definitely was your goal.
01:04Really good set-up, wasn't it? Nicely weight of pass on it
01:08and what was going through your head when that chance presented itself?
01:12I think watching off the bench, Cal tonight was unbelievable.
01:16So, when he's in a tight area like that, I always know that there's a chance of him
01:20squeezing out of the gap like that. So, the player I am, I sort of just run forward into the space
01:25and he found me nicely. So, then it was just about connecting with the ball and hitting the target,
01:28which I'd done and, yeah, I'm really happy to score.
01:31Was the assist us satisfying in some ways?
01:35Yeah, definitely. I think me and Ty have a good connection and a good relationship.
01:38I think Brooksy's done really well to find me in the first place
01:44and, again, it was just about me running forward into the space.
01:46Brooksy's found my path and then just had to find a bit of composure
01:50and I know Ty's always going to win the race against defenders
01:52because he's so quick and cross the ball and he's never going to miss from there.
01:58How important is that last half an hour for you after a tough start to the season so far?
02:02Yeah, definitely. It's massive and winning games ultimately is what gives me as a player confidence,
02:10what gives us as a team confidence.
02:12So, now our back-to-back wins and, yeah, looking like we're going into the right direction.
02:17Have you kind of sat back and reflected over these last couple of games?
02:20I know you will have wanted to start. Has it given you a bit of reflection time?
02:24Yeah, definitely. The gaffers pull me out of the team for a reason
02:28and I believe in all the actions that he does
02:31and I think it was the right thing to do because, yeah, like you said,
02:34it's took me back and made me maybe want to work at that little bit harder
02:38to get back into the team.
02:40Then when I come on, I want to show my qualities,
02:42which he showed the belief bringing me on in the last 30
02:44and hopefully I've repaid it.
02:46Back-to-back wins now.
02:47Do you feel like things are starting to click into gear
02:51and start to move in a better direction?
02:53Yeah, definitely.
02:54Over the last few weeks, we've been trying to build that feeling back
02:57and you can tell just every day, every day we're inching closer and closer to that
03:02and like I said a minute ago, wins is ultimately what gives us that confidence
03:07and, yeah, back-to-back wins is huge for us.
03:11You said there's been a bit of banter in there.
03:12Is there a bit of a good camaraderie building up now,
03:16a good bit of team spirit after these last couple
03:18and what you've managed to do?
03:19Yeah, definitely.
03:20That spirit's always been there.
03:23Then when you win games, it's the best feeling in football
03:25and brings everyone together, like at the end celebrating with the fans,
03:29that was top class and I want to thank them for coming this evening
03:33because they're a massive help.
03:35That last 30 especially, you could hear them and it gives you that extra push.
03:38So, yeah, buzzer.
03:39And you're out of the bottom three tonight for the first time this season.
03:44How important is it now that you can just crack on
03:46and try and get some distance initially from those places?
03:51Yeah, definitely.
03:51It doesn't matter how you play.
03:52It's just about winning games in the Championship.
03:55And it's such a tough league, so hopefully now we've got two,
03:59we'll find a bit of momentum, which us as a club,
04:02we're always speaking about that momentum.
04:04So hopefully, yeah, we can go on a run now.
