David Moyes hailed Iliman Ndiaye as “the best player on the pitch” during Everton’s 2-0 defeat at Manchester City, highlighting the winger’s ability to shine even in a losing cause.

Ndiaye produced a first-half masterclass at the Etihad Stadium, creating two glorious chances for Beto and forcing Gianluigi Donnarumma into a fingertip save, keeping Everton competitive against the former Premier League champions.
