A delighted dog had the paw-some encounter with a pod of dolphins when they put on a leaping display for him during a boat trip. Shadow, a 10-month-old red golden retriever, has been watching, swimming, and interacting with dolphins since he was just eight weeks old, his owner, Ryan Griffin, from Newport Beach, California, said. On September 7, Ryan, his girlfriend, Shadow, and a few others set sail off the coast of Laguna Beach, where they came across an active pod of dolphins. As the group got closer, the dolphins started putting on a show, with Shadow wanting to see the action up close. Standing on the bow of the boat to be right in the action, Shadow wagged his tail with excitement as the dolphins swam close by – with one even jumping over and over. The incredible moment was captured on video by Ryan, who later shared the clip on social media, where he post about his global travels with Shadow.
