00:00A Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro presided over Monday the inauguration of a self-government hall

00:05at a socialist commune in the parish of La Pastora in Caracas and presented new government projects.

00:11During the event, the Bolivarian head of the state praised the canonization by the Vatican of Tortor José Gregorio Hernández,

00:18known as the Doctor for the Poor, and rejected the U.S. narrative amid linking his government and himself to drug trafficking.

00:25Maduro reiterated that Venezuela is not a land of criminals, but a land of saints and of good, decent and working people.

00:33He also affirmed that after 13 years of Copán de Chávez's historic speech known as the Strike of the Helm,

00:39Venezuela continues to move along the most just and correct road over weakness in any land of the earth

00:46and said that the Bolivarian nation was an example of direct democracy.
