00:14So, the episode opens with a beautiful morning. Pat and Prem are still lying in each other's arms.
00:23As Pat wakes up, she hugs Prem tighter and gently kisses her neck.
00:28Prem, she says softly, you have to come to my house today. I want you to meet my mom and dad.
00:36You're so special to me. I want everyone to know about you.
00:41Prem smiles and says, but your parents already know me.
00:46Pat laughs. Yes, they know you as my doctor.
00:50But today, you'll meet them as their daughter's girlfriend.
00:55Or should I say, future daughter-in-law.
01:00Prem blushes and says, okay, okay, I'll come.
01:04But first, I need to shower, have breakfast, and cancel my hospital appointments.
01:10Only then will your doctor be free.
01:13Pat grins, fine, but only on one condition.
01:19You shower with me again.
01:22In the next scene, we see them in the shower, though it's clear they're not there to just shower.
01:31The scene fades out as Pat kisses Dr. Prem again.
01:35Later, Pat's car stops in front of her house.
01:38She holds Prem's hand as they walk inside.
01:42Mom, Dad, look who I brought with me today.
01:46Her parents are thrilled to see Dr. Prem.
01:50Pat proudly says, Mom, Dad, I have a surprise.
01:54I'm dating Dr. Prem.
01:56And she said yes.
01:59Her parents are overjoyed.
02:02Her dad smiles and says, Dr. Prem, thank you for taking care of our daughter.
02:07You have our full permission to teach her some discipline.
02:11She's way too naughty.
02:14Pat drags Prem to her bedroom to show her around.
02:18Prem laughs and says, you're such a child.
02:20Who puts up so many cartoon posters?
02:24Pat replies, I do.
02:26I love them.
02:27I can't decorate like this at my apartment.
02:30People would judge.
02:31But this room, this is my world.
02:34Now, I just need my princess.
02:37Prem teases, so you're a prince, huh?
02:42Pat winks, nope, I'm a princess.
02:45And I only want my princess, you.
02:49In the meantime, another character, Watt, starts getting suspicious of Dr. Prem's behavior.
02:56He notices that a certain girl, Pat, always seems to protect her.
03:02After digging around, he discovers the truth.
03:05Dr. Prem and Pat are in a relationship.
03:10Watt becomes furious.
03:13So Dr. Prem rejected me because of her?
03:16You'll regret this, Prem.
03:18At the same time, Nam is still desperately trying to contact Pat.
03:24She calls again and again until Pat finally answers.
03:30Pat, did I do something wrong?
03:32Why are you avoiding me?
03:34You promised you'd never leave me.
03:36Are you with someone else now?
03:39Pat simply says, Nam, I'm busy.
03:42I'll call you later.
03:44And cuts the call.
03:47Nam is devastated.
03:49And soon after, she has a fight with Watt.
03:52He tells her coldly that he plans to marry Dr. Prem
03:55and will only support Nam financially for their baby.
04:01Nam shouts, if you leave me, I'll go back to Pat.
04:05Watt explodes with anger.
04:08He shoves Nam, not realizing she's badly hurt.
04:13Moments later, she realizes her baby is hurt too.
04:18Crying, she calls out for Pat,
04:20who had coincidentally already been thinking about her.
04:25Feeling guilty, Pat rushes to Nam's house
04:28and finds her in terrible condition.
04:33Pat immediately takes her to the hospital,
04:36the same one where Dr. Prem works.
04:39Nam holds Pat tightly and cries.
04:42Please don't leave me.
04:43You're the only one I have.
04:46Pat, heartbroken, promises to stay by her side.
04:51After Nam is admitted,
04:52Pat explains everything to Dr. Prem.
04:57She says, Nam's had a miscarriage.
05:00Please don't be angry.
05:01She needs me right now.
05:03And I want you to know there's nothing between us anymore.
05:07We're just friends.
05:09Dr. Prem listens quietly, then says,
05:12Okay, take care of your friend.
05:15I understand.
05:16And that's where part one ends.
