00:00An alleged hoon who was seen doing burnouts dangerously close to a crowd
00:04was one of two dozen people arrested in Hume, Victoria in October 2025.
00:10Police in the Air Wing unit attached to Operation Nighthawk
00:14spotted the illegal hoon gathering at the intersection of Aiken Boulevard
00:18and Dooneybrook Road in Mickalham after 11.30pm on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025.
00:24A vehicle with allegedly stolen number plates was seen doing burnouts
00:41before taking off at speed when officers on the ground arrived.
00:45Air Wing tracked the vehicle to Craigieburn
00:47before the vehicle continued at speed through Sunbury and Brunswick
00:51to Faulkner where officers deployed stop sticks.
00:54Despite losing a tyre, the vehicle continued through Campbellfield Car Park
00:58heading towards Broadmeadows.
01:00The driver eventually crashed the vehicle into a house on Holbury Road
01:04and all four occupants were arrested.
01:07No one inside the property was injured.
01:10So the units are just attended there. The driver is the one at the back.
01:14They've just dropped something next to them.
01:16The 18-year-old male driver from Greenvale was charged with 16 offences.
01:20Two other men, aged 18 and 20, and a 17-year-old boy
01:25were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods.
01:30Officers attached to Operation Nighthawk arrested a further 21 people
01:34and charged them with more than 100 offences.
