00:00When you watch the film, that holds true, right?

00:02They're not loading the box, we like to say, where they walk.

00:05All their safeties down or put an extra big guy in the game,

00:09go to regular defense, put an extra D-tap on the game.

00:11They stayed in nickel defense.

00:13They went to the nickel back, even when they went regular,

00:15put an extra linebacker in the game.

00:17They were still playing coverage behind it, zone coverage.

00:19Not a ton of run blitzes from Staley yesterday.

00:22Not a lot of moment by the defensive line to try to stop the run

00:25because, look, guys, when the Chicago Bears do line up,

00:28you guys have seen Caleb Williams throw the football.

00:31You've seen the arm he has.

00:32You guys know what DJ Maul, Roma Dunze, DeAndre Swift, Luther Burden,

00:37the key is a poker med, Colson Loveland.

00:40You know what those guys are capable of, and so does Brandon Staley, right?

00:44So does Staley, and they're playing dome behind it,

00:46and you guys know Fangio and a too high look and a cover four

00:49and the things everybody's been talking about for years.

00:51But people do respect what Caleb Williams can do

00:55and what he's capable of with that arm

00:57and the weapons that they have,

00:59which leaves you what we call in the NFL a light box, right?

01:02A lot of times when I play with, you know,

01:04bathroom quarterbacks or quarterbacks that were struggling,

01:07you would look up and you would think every play was short yardage, right,

01:10where everybody was in the box.

01:11Nobody respected your pass game.

01:13Nobody respected the receivers that you had on your roster,

01:16and they were just loading the box.

01:18You know, we used to always say the next time we see a light box

01:21will be the first time, right?

01:22So you look at guys like Mahomes and, you know,

01:25Peyton Manning played for the Colts.

01:27They always looked at what I call a light box,

01:30where you had a man for a man, right?

01:31And guys weren't moving a lot because they were worried about the pass game.

01:34So we did see some of that yesterday.

01:36That doesn't mean that Caleb Williams doesn't have to complete more passes.

01:39It doesn't mean that he wasn't off yesterday a little bit,

01:41which he was.

01:42It doesn't mean that, you know, there wasn't a drop ball.

01:44The Roma Doomsday's drop ball pops in my mind.

01:48But that is the run game is also because the Bears do have weapons.

01:54The Bears do have Caleb Williams.

01:55The Bears do have Ben Johnson.

01:57And a lot of respect from the other sideline,

01:59from Coach Staley, them with the defense I saw them playing yesterday

02:03on the back end.
