00:00Good evening from North London, where Villa are celebrating a fifth straight win in all competitions.
00:07Their 2-1 victory over Tottenham here today, their best win of the season so far.
00:13A season which is now fully up and running and properly motoring.
00:18A really impressive performance from Unai Emery's team, particularly in the second half against Spurs.
00:23Spurs could have gone second today in the Premier League with a win, but that was all the talk beforehand.
00:27Instead, it's now Villa, who are probably into the top half, if not, their 11th.
00:32Just two points behind Tottenham, two points behind Chelsea, four points behind Manchester City, who they play next week.
00:39And it does feel now that Villa are getting back to their old selves.
00:44Some really big performances today.
00:47Morgan Rodgers scoring his first Villa goal of the season in some style.
00:51It wasn't a great start for Villa.
00:53Villa behind inside five minutes, Rodrigo Benton Kerr scoring for the hosts.
00:58Villa were rocking in the first 10 to 15 minutes, but steadily they got back into the game.
01:03Scrappy game, particularly in the opening period.
01:07But Rodgers' goal equalised on 37 minutes.
01:10A real great strike.
01:13Really not in keeping with anything else that happened in the game from that point, to be honest.
01:17Picking the ball up, 25 yards from goal, going past Sadie Simonson and hitting a vicious dipping shot over Vicario and into the net.
01:271-1.
01:28And second half, even for the first 15 minutes, but the key moment of the game really, in memory, introducing Ollie Watkins and Emi Buendia off the bench.
01:36Watkins, obviously injured on international duty.
01:40But this was some substitute cameo from him, full of running, gave Villa a focal point, a presence up front.
01:47Buendia, meanwhile, he got the winner.
01:49His third goal in four games, the second time in three Premier League games that he's had a major impact off the bench.
01:54And what a winning goal it was.
01:56A pass from Matty Cash that Roy Keane on Sky Sports has described as the pass of the season so far.
02:03Brilliant bit of skill from Luca Dini, who had a bit of a different game, to be honest, Dini.
02:07But brilliant depth touch there and a great finish from Buendia 2-1 Villa.
02:12And they saw the game out relatively comfortably, fully deserved win, really encouraging.
