00:11into turn one from norris on the inside swooping around the outside comes charles leclerc and
00:15norris gets just a big compromise behind verstappen that allows leclerc to get better traction and
00:20into second place and already oscar piastri is above and ahead of george russell in the mercedes
00:27lewis hamilton is also ahead of russell who had a poor start but verstappen getting the job done
00:32just like he did yesterday there's verstappen at the start pointing towards norris i think
00:38norris got an initial good getaway but verstappen in the second phase had him well covered yeah
00:43there's four meters between the grid slots and you can see leclerc with the grip with the confidence
00:49and the quicker line around the outside as as you pointed out at the time norris slightly tucked up
00:55underneath underneath the rear wing of max verstappen and that could well be a very pivotal
01:00moment in this grand prix there is the mercedes of kimmy antonelli on the left hand side of your
01:06screen and he's facing the wrong way he's been spun around there's debris down there at turn 15
01:12at least he's got going again and that's good to see while that's going on esteban ocon's been noted
01:17for a false start moving uh before the lights went out but kimmy antonelli running in the top seven
01:23now running plum last in this grand prix as we see a bit of contact there george russell uh going
01:31perhaps into the back of uh is it piastri is it piastri and there antonelli is stopped by the side of the
01:38track and i think antonelli has been hit by carlos sainz that is carlos sainz there and by what happened
01:46turn 15 sainz down the inside on antonelli who comes across him and well we saw that yesterday
01:51with piastri and hulkenberg didn't we if someone's coming through on the inside you get contact like
01:56that and it never ends well but i think antonelli there was just taking his racing line and did he

03:31wheel but leclerc can go deeper into the corner the switchback didn't work there norris tries to go
03:37around the outside looking good for him and leclerc absolutely closes the door slam shot says you ain't
03:43coming in the ferrari has been hanging on to that second place now under four tenths between
03:49leclerc and norris when the drs opens this time he'll get alongside surely he's going wheel to wheel
03:55he's got a head charles leclerc has to settle for third place as they go through turn 12 on lap 21
04:01he's finally lando norris got the job done i know you're busy we just had our third strike track limit
04:07turn 13 we think you were pushed off but we had a black and white flag so be careful i know i know

04:54and somehow yuki sonoda manages to avoid him and that could have been both cars making contact and
05:00out of the race as we look at the replay now a lot of dirt yeah bearman will say look he changed
05:06direction uh he changed direction while i was in mid maneuver there's a little swerve to the left
05:12yeah so yeah there you go he moved under braking says ollie bemm he did he did and then he moved
05:23back again but it was too late by that stage yeah and ollie had to go on to the grass i wonder if the
05:28stewards will have a look at that uh sadly we didn't get to look at nika hulkenberg and ollie
05:32bearman has that carried on so you don't think lando was bluffing in any way shape or form about
05:37those tires no too hot
05:39and that's the state of the tires and that's the slide in slow motion that you can see and every
05:46time that happens it puts more heat through the tires and it yeah they're just starting to miss
05:52a little bit of traction and that will give norris all the confidence he's gone down the inside on
05:59charles leclerc i thought it might happen martin charles leclerc saw that coming felt that the switch
06:04back was the right way to defend but that's the first time we've seen lando have a go at charles
06:09leclerc down at turn one or up at turn one as we should say yeah charles leclerc wants in this race
06:16to take second place and is now trying to do it to make it count to the checkered flag norris down
06:20the inside and he takes that second place away from the struggling ferrari it's taken him a while
06:27he'd almost given up mentally he was told by the pit wall just hang on in there chances will come
06:33your way they have it's verstappen from norris once more they call the interterm one but you're
06:39always going to run a little bit wide if you take that line on the way in and as always the front
06:45runners and this is the overtake look at that it was a little dummy and look how dirty his tires are
06:51picking up the rubbish but that'll he'll struggle a little bit for a few corners with dirty tires like
06:57to this track where he's won three times before and he's about to make it a fourth grand prix win
07:05in austin for a seventh win in the united states while that's happening hamilton struggling piastri's
07:13gaining verstappen crosses the line wins the u.s grand prix and it has been max attack and max success
07:21all weekend long for him lando norris finishes second charles leclerc will be third can lewis
07:28hamilton hang on to fourth place he thinks he's got a puncture piastri is gaining on him we're on board
07:34now as charles leclerc finishes third and picks up that podium look how wide hamilton went around the
07:40final corner he is gonna get to the line in front because the line comes at you quickly hamilton holds
07:46on the fourth oscar piastri finishes fifth george russell sixth yuki sonoda will come home
07:53seventh and the fight is going on for the final point scoring place what a weekend he's missed out
08:01on the fastest lap here so he he doesn't do the the double grand chalev as it were in the sprints
08:07and the grand prix which no driver's ever done but it was another very impressive weekend max
