00:00If you have all the money in the world or you have absolutely nothing and every penny matters
00:04and that an artist is supposed to say hey we recognize our audience this is our ticket price
00:10because it represents everyone and it represents us doing this without trying to break everyone
00:15got it right so let's say that it's that number this person and this person even if it means
00:20nothing to this person to get that number and this person to work for weeks when they enter
00:23that room they're supposed to be the same person yeah the idea that all these things are turning
00:29a venue into like a free market where it's like I'm here I paid paid face value so and
00:34so is here they paid a billion dollars and so and so bought their ticket for 30 cents when
00:38the scalpers dropped it nine minutes before the show like this like moving thing it's
00:42like just set a price and let people go in yeah and then we have to watch the companies
00:47that own all these rooms and monopolize the whole fucking thing like post like billions
00:52of earnings while they're in there like fucking like you know shirts that you wouldn't ever
00:58be caught dead in and they're in charge of our it's just like just chill the fuck out
01:02like it's working everyone wants to come and everyone like it's not like total anarchy it's
01:08just like the difference between like a working thing and you know like okay you got me trapped
01:13in the airport the water is 50 cents more I get it water is nine dollars more I have to freak
01:18the fuck out but I've done too much research and I've gone down the rabbit hole that's bad
01:21that's I really it's the sports lobby and a lot of these companies it's the sports lobby
01:26well that's where the ticketing thing comes into play and then I've like like done the
01:30the red yarn to like oblivion and like gone through every route of it and the best I can
01:35do which makes me even more mad is then they call up and like we'll give you the right good
01:38deal and I'm like give everyone the good deal so your original question what do we do I think
01:41we just got to keep talking about it so no one thinks it's normal it's so simple to me and
01:45there's one answer but it's never going to happen which is they have to make a little less money
01:49yeah that's it because they can they can chuck it all around and do this do that and make it up
01:53to you at the festival whatever it is but yeah if if if they want to treat I mean that's what the
01:58scene was all about and that's how I feel about my shows that's how you feel about your shows
02:01I want everyone in that room to feel like a fucking human being from beginning to end
