00:00Send all the buildings down!
00:02Along with our secret weapon...
00:04It's like an army!
00:06That's a lot of people, isn't it?
00:07There's no government!
00:08The great British public...
00:10Outside it!
00:11I didn't know I had this many friends!
00:14This time...
00:15Shall I paint your bedroom pink?
00:18No!
00:20A family in Bracknell need our help to keep their son out of hospital.
00:24You can't exactly barricade the door, can you?
00:25No, we can't.
00:27What the...
00:28The thing is, if we can do it as well...
00:30That's how good the wall is.
00:32Oh, God, now what?
00:34Oh, my God, it's like a swimming pool in here!
00:37We've got a bit of an issue.
00:39The bath doesn't fit.
00:41What?
00:41We're right on the wall.
00:43Joking.
00:43No.
00:45We're going to have to shut everything off.
00:48We're stuffed, don't we?
00:50And that is why you shouldn't build a house in eight days.
00:58I'm off to Bracknell to meet Dean and Laura and their two children, Sienna's 13, Rafi's 8.
01:07Now, about a year ago, Rafi got what they thought was a stomach bug, turned into something a lot worse.
01:13Turned out it was an E. coli infection.
01:15He ended up very, very ill, and life at home for all of them has become very difficult as a result.
01:20Raffi?
01:24Oh!
01:26Our family is the all-singing, all-dancing type family.
01:32We're very much wholly onto the creative side.
01:35There's always something going on.
01:37And this!
01:39Chumming!
01:40Yay!
01:41Raffi was definitely a mummy's boy.
01:44Happy anniversary, mummy and daddy.
01:46He loved his home comfort.
01:48Oh, my God!
01:51And he had an exceptional mind.
01:55Democratic Republic of the Congo.
01:58ER Congo!
01:59We get to smallest.
02:01Russia, Canada, China, America, Brazil, Australia.
02:05But then, yeah, obviously that was quite swiftly robbed.
02:11Got a call from the school saying he'd got tummy ache.
02:14And then that stomach ache just got worse and worse.
02:17So then we said, right, we're going to go to A&E.
02:20We were greeted by an incredible consultant who said, I know what this is.
02:24This is hemolytic uremic syndrome.
02:26It's incredibly rare.
02:27He had three seizures, kidney failure, every organ affected.
02:36And he went 23 minutes without oxygen due to cardiac arrest.
02:41At 2am, we got a phone call saying, come and say goodbye.
02:46He won't make it through.
02:47Simon says, put both hands up.
03:01Whoa!
03:03But Raffi did make it through.
03:05Here we go.
03:07After almost a year in hospital, the family made it home two months ago.
03:12Cosy?
03:12But now social services have deemed the house unsuitable for Raffi's complex needs.
03:19Point to the blue donut.
03:22So returning him to a medical facility is looking inevitable.
03:26Good boy.
03:27I cannot face going back to hospital.
03:30I can't face going anywhere else.
03:31We need to be at home.
03:32But the house isn't appropriate for him.
03:34Hello.
03:40Hello.
03:41Nick.
03:41Nice to meet you.
03:42May I come and have a look around?
03:43Of course.
03:44Thank you very much.
03:45This is Raffi.
03:46Good morning.
03:47Can I say hello?
03:47Any chance of a fist bump?
03:49Nice.
03:50How's he doing?
03:51He's miraculous.
03:52He's doing amazing.
03:53Bless him.
03:53In the hospital, we were told that his main recovery would be within the first year.
03:59He did nothing in that first year.
04:01His real recovery started once he was home.
04:03Once he got home.
04:03I can see why you want to keep him at home.
04:05But I don't even know how you get the wheelchair in through that front door and hallway set up anyway.
04:09We can't.
04:09The wheelchair doesn't come in the house.
04:11Oh, so from that point you have to lift him.
04:13Yeah, we lift him from there.
04:14Not having a hoist gave Dean a lot of back problems, didn't it?
04:18Yeah.
04:18Is it all right for one of you stroking around the place?
04:20Yep.
04:22This is the kitchen.
04:24Currently a storeroom.
04:25Do you do much cooking in here?
04:26Dean loves nutrition.
04:28So Raffi's on a superfood diet.
04:30Food that heals the body, basically.
04:32Have you been on the internet researching everything you could possibly research?
04:35Dean's job.
04:36He was a musician, but he hasn't played music since Raffi got sick.
04:40Is that right?
04:40He will always opt for Raffi's video over doing something for himself.
04:45What is it that you need in the ground floor here?
04:50For him to be able to come in in his wheelchair.
04:52And he needs to be able to have a bath.
04:54He hasn't had a bath in so long.
04:57Upstairs, the rooms are mostly used for storage.
05:00Laura and daughter Sienna share a bedroom and Dean camps out in Raffi's old room.
05:06Their third bedroom has been adapted for Sienna's biggest passion.
05:09She is a dancer.
05:10That's what she loves.
05:12How good is she?
05:13World champion.
05:14She's a world champion?
05:15Yeah.
05:16Wow.
05:17We tried to make our bedroom into a dance studio for her because she misses a lot of training now.
05:24Because so much of our lives is about Raff.
05:27I see the emotion bubbling up straight away when you talk about that.
05:31I know.
05:31Of course there's guilt and everything with her, but it's not like you have any option.
05:39She can play much.
05:40Never.
05:41There you go.
05:42No.
05:43You all right?
05:44Okay.
05:45Can I go and say hello to her?
05:46Of course.
05:49Sienna?
05:50Yeah.
05:50This is Nick.
05:52Hi.
05:52Wow, look at all the trophies.
05:54These are really cool.
05:56Is this the big one?
05:57World champs, isn't it?
05:58Yeah.
05:58So where was that?
06:00In Poland.
06:01And you're world champion?
06:02Yeah.
06:04That's pretty amazing.
06:05Have you been able to continue and do normal things like your dancing?
06:09Mostly, but when there's like a bug going around in the dance school, sometimes I take the night off so it doesn't spread to Raff.
06:15So you think we should come and do this?
06:17Yeah.
06:18All right, we're going to leave you to get on with your practicing.
06:20Nice to meet you.
06:20Nice to meet you.
06:25It's really sad.
06:27Look at all the musical equipment stashed away.
06:29And look at that, look, box of toys as well.
06:32I mean, that must be hard in itself to look at toys that your son can't play with now.
06:36This is like their entire life of what's gone all in one room.
06:43Constant reminders.
06:45That must be very hard.
06:46This is what we have.
06:54Well, this is a substantial extra space.
06:56We did a GoFundMe and amazing people just came forward and said, right, we're going to help.
07:00Why does it stop now?
07:01Because the GoFundMe is running out.
07:04It was decided that he would come home on a basis, that this would be up very quickly and that hasn't happened.
07:10So our risk then is that he has to go back into a medical setting.
07:16You can't exactly barricade the door, can you?
07:17No, we can't.
07:18All right, look, it's cold out here.
07:22Can you get back in the warm?
07:24And give me five minutes to have a think out here.
07:31Flipping heck.
07:34This family are doing everything they can to stay in this house because Rafi recovers better here.
07:42We shouldn't be the only answer, but I think we are.
07:46Are you cosy?
07:48Are you OK?
07:50Are you so cute?
07:54It's going to be complicated because it's a small house and we can't make it any bigger.
07:59We understand it's a huge ask.
08:01As long as it's accessible and we can feel like a four again.
08:05The truth of the matter is, you need to get this done because sooner or later the hospital are going to come around and go,
08:10you can't carry on like this.
08:12So you're exactly the kind of people that we need to help.
08:16Yeah, I'm going to come and do it.
08:18Oh, do you hear that, Raf?
08:21Isn't that amazing?
08:21Are you OK?
08:22On the day you wake up, need to save somebody and you're right.
08:34For the life of me, I don't know how we're going to do it yet, but we'll work it out.
08:39Do I get one more fist bump?
08:40We'll see you again very soon, right?
08:44See you soon.
08:45See you again.
08:46See you again.
08:46Come on.
08:47Come on.
08:48You were one.
08:49Thanks.
08:50I have a son of a similar age.
08:53I know that they would have to take him back into hospital.
08:58I don't think you have to be a parent to understand it, but certainly as a parent, it like hit hard with me.
09:04Yeah.
09:06Yeah.
09:06Four months later, I'm back in Bracknell.
09:23Hello, hello, hello, hello.
09:25Hello.
09:26Good morning.
09:26Hiya.
09:27How are you?
09:27Hi, how are you?
09:30Let's get a fist bump down there.
09:32Nice.
09:32Thank you very much.
09:33How are you doing?
09:34Are you worried about what's going to happen?
09:35No.
09:36I'm excited.
09:37Still can't believe it's going to be done.
09:39Really?
09:39I just, yeah.
09:40Well, we'll do our best.
09:41Unless the people turn up.
09:43Absolutely.
09:43We can't do it on our own.
09:45You think people will turn up?
09:46Yeah.
09:47Yeah.
09:47Yeah.
09:47Transforming this house will require a Herculean effort.
09:53Can you hear voices?
09:55We rely on local tradespeople, businesses and volunteers to turn the impossible into a reality.
10:06Look, they're still coming.
10:08Look, all these people.
10:12And you're going to have a bath and you're going to have a bedroom.
10:15Yeah.
10:17Ready to go meet them?
10:21Yeah.
10:25That's it.
10:25They're all these people.
10:37If he had come a year and a half ago, this boy would have come to the door himself.
10:42He would have used his own legs, used his own arms and hands to open the door.
10:46And his own voice to greet you.
10:49Yeah.
10:49Yeah.
10:51But every day this boy fights to get as much function back as possible.
10:55And as a family, we don't have the means to provide Rafi with the home he needs.
11:01So to see you guys here with all your talents, just turning up for him.
11:06From the bottom of my heart.
11:07Thank you so much.
11:11Daddy, can you give me some time?
11:14Thank you to everyone.
11:15Thank you people.
11:16Good boy.
11:16Good boy.
11:17How's that, man?
11:23So, it's you that are going to put this family back in and give that little boy the chance
11:28to live a normal life.
11:30So, are we up for it?
11:31Yeah!
11:32Let's get in the building.
11:33Come on.
11:44I love the first day.
11:45I think everybody just goes at it like mad.
11:47Woo!
11:48It's so far, isn't it?
11:49No!
11:53Let's open the place up a bit.
11:55As our volunteers make quick work of stripping out the house, we can already see problems with
12:01the family's plans for the unfinished extension.
12:04Putting Rafi's bedroom and bathroom here was the most easy and simple thing for the family
12:09to do with the budget they had.
12:11It doesn't really work.
12:12It blocks off all the light.
12:14It's like flopping a sort of duvet over the back of your house.
12:18I want him to be getting as much daylight and fresh air, all the things he's been deprived
12:22of.
12:23So, we're keeping Rafi in that front room.
12:27And it will give the family this amazing living area.
12:29We've got a massive skylight going in here.
12:31So, we're going to be beams of light coming in here.
12:33All this is going to come out.
12:35This is really a design about hope and optimism for Rafi's recovery.
12:44The extra living space is just one of many key elements we're adding to this house to help
12:49cater for all the family's needs.
12:51I have made a promise to this family that when this little boy is not going back to hospital,
12:57it's up to you lot to make it happen.
12:59No pressure.
13:00You're all not there.
13:01You're all not.
13:01Yeah.
13:01Yeah.
13:04The family were thinking they'd put Rafi in the extension, but of course it means the
13:09rest of the family are crammed in the dark side, which is the wrong way round.
13:14To maximise the light coming into the house, the ground floor will be completely redesigned.
13:20The partially built extension will become a new living dining room coming off the kitchen.
13:25And for Rafi, we're building him a brand new bedroom and bathroom.
13:28Are we going to have them lifty things that...
13:32Hoist.
13:33Hoist.
13:33But only between bedroom and bathroom.
13:36So we've got two H-track hoists going in.
13:38Which means the existing ceilings mean to come down.
13:42Yeah.
13:42So it's not a patchwork repair job.
13:44Full board and skim everywhere.
13:45Right, okay.
13:46Yeah, this hoist ends up adding in a lot of structural elements.
13:50But with it being a 70s house, the building regs during that time were a little bit like,
13:55just get it built.
13:56We just leave houses quick.
13:58You're right, and it's slightly more complex than that.
14:00Upstairs is a dance room for Sienna, and jumping up and down and dancing on a floor,
14:04we might have to beef up the supporting wall that runs down the spine of the house.
14:10Upstairs, the first floor layout stays the same, but with rooms reassigned.
14:15We're moving Sienna's dance studio, and she'll also have a brand new bedroom.
14:19And for the first time in over a year, Laura and Dean will have a room to call their own.
14:25Garden's going to be interesting for you.
14:26It's about half a metre lower than the house, and I want him to have access all the way through.
14:31We're going to have to look at building it up.
14:32In my head, what I'm seeing is an outdoor room.
14:35Yeah.
14:36Outdoor kitchen.
14:37I love that.
14:37Herbs and vegetables.
14:39Dad, Dean has now really controlled Rafi's food intake, and that, they're fairly sure,
14:43has contributed to his recovery.
14:45To be able to pick, like, fresh produce from your garden, it's amazing.
14:48The other thing that comes to mind, is it's going to be a rise and fall bath, sink, and
14:54now we're having a special toilet.
14:55All three of those things, darling.
14:57You've got quite a bit of electrics to go, haven't you?
14:59What with that, and solar and everything.
15:00Yeah, solar can have one feed, and that's all they're going to have.
15:02He does electrics, but he does their electronics.
15:04So, he hands on and defers to the people putting it in.
15:07No, every trade's their own trade.
15:10We wouldn't ask us to do plumbing, would it?
15:13You wouldn't say, oh, well, Billy, can you go and plumb a pool?
15:15I'll be honest, Bill, I sometimes worry about asking you to do electrics.
15:17Yeah.
15:20I feel really packed up after that.
15:25As the ground floor is gutted, the plasterboard's off, the main structural wall in the middle
15:33of the house has been uncovered.
15:34And this is what's holding up all upstairs.
15:40There's bits of old floorboard, there's noggins here.
15:42And as we always say, what would you do in your own house?
15:45Yeah, this needs to come out.
15:46It moves, look, when you shake it, look.
15:48And because we're going to put hoist over here, and we're essentially having a dance studio
15:51up there, we've got to beef up what's holding everything up.
15:55Yeah, the thing is, if we do it as well...
15:56That's how good it is.
15:58That's how good the wall is.
15:59All right, so we're halfway through the first day, and we're looking like we're going to be
16:02half a day behind.
16:03Yeah, fine, we'll crack on then.
16:09Okay, so what shall we have to do then, what do we do first?
16:12Plant specialist Ash is having a crash course in bricklaying to tackle the large drop from
16:17the back of the house.
16:18To make sure that the bit of mortar is evenly spread over, let's move it out.
16:22Yep.
16:23It's been like butter on a piece of toast.
16:24To make the garden flush with the house floor, the new brick and concrete base will raise
16:30the whole garden by nearly half a metre.
16:33It's only come down quite a bit.
16:36That's it, keep going.
16:37Are we there?
16:38You've laid your first block.
16:39Probably 200 more to go.
16:41Oh.
16:42Well, I'm a natural now, so we'll whiz through it together.
16:44The problem with renovating a 1970s building, though, is you never know what you're going
17:01to uncover.
17:02So basically, the issue now is, there is asbestos in the outer wall.
17:05We go in the UPVC cladding.
17:07It is safe where it is, but the issue is, we've got a cracked window at the top of the
17:11frame.
17:11It's cracked there.
17:12This is no good as it is.
17:13So we have to take it out?
17:15We can't take it out because we're touching the asbestos, so we do need the asbestos to
17:19come out.
17:21The issue is, if we do that, we need a licence, which is 14 days, but obviously you're going
17:25to have to make a phone call and see if we can get that licence in place in the time
17:28we've got.
17:29It is time.
17:30A lot of 60s, 70s houses had asbestos put in them before everybody realised the dangers.
17:36It's safe if you leave it and you don't touch it, but unfortunately, a window, something
17:41we thought we could leave alone, we can't, and now we need specialist people who have
17:44hazmat suits to come in and take it out.
17:46It'd be great if it was done at night.
17:47When no one's on site, we come back in the morning and it's all complete.
17:50All right, fair enough.
17:50I'll get on the phone and see if what we can get sorted.
17:52Lovely job.
17:52Thanks, Nick.
17:55Hello.
17:56Hello.
17:56Is that the HSE asbestos licensing unit?
17:59Yeah.
17:59It's Nick Knowles from DIY SOS.
18:01Hello.
18:02It is a problem.
18:03It's a problem we know how to deal with.
18:05If we can expedite that licence so that we can get it done, whether we'll be able to do it
18:10or not, will depend entirely on whether we can get the permission in time.
18:14I can't make any problem, then.
18:15While the main spine wall of the house is beefed up, it's a hundred times better than when we
18:27arrived this morning.
18:27Oh, you might not stand well.
18:29I'm so excited.
18:30I'm so excited.
18:31The half-built extension is being opened up to the rest of the house.
18:35The beam is going in, which means we can take out all of this wall that makes that kitchen
18:41so dark and miserable.
18:47Game changer, this beam.
18:48It's all about letting the light in.
18:56It suddenly works now, doesn't it?
18:57Yeah.
18:58Thank you so much.
19:00Raffi, yeah, he's a lovely little lad and my boy was in the same school.
19:03Yeah, so hopefully we can do what we can do here and transform their whole life.
19:07You know, that's what it's all about, really.
19:10Yeah, it's been an amazing day.
19:13Yeah.
19:13Well done tomorrow.
19:15Yeah, well done.
19:15Yeah.
19:16Well done.
19:26Good morning.
19:28Look, isn't it lovely?
19:33Upstairs, when's that stud wall being built?
19:36We'll go up and have a little bit with that front room.
19:38Yeah.
19:39It's ready.
19:40The downstairs rooms are still being built.
19:42Right, so you still do.
19:43Yeah, yeah.
19:44But with the first floor layout remaining the same, most of it's now ready for plastering.
19:48Don't go anywhere near the...
19:49Yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:52My plan today is I would like to be completed upstairs and something going on downstairs.
20:00And then I know we can finish it tomorrow.
20:03Hello.
20:08Hello.
20:10Hello, Nick.
20:11So, I've just spoken to our asbestos lights and city.
20:15Yes.
20:15And so, what I got told is...
20:21Is it yes?
20:23Brilliant.
20:23Asbestos will continue.
20:25That's amazing.
20:26Thank you so much for all your work.
20:27Cheers, bye.
20:28Bye.
20:28There we go.
20:30We can change this window tonight.
20:32We've got all of the certification that we need to make it happen.
20:34So, that's an absolute result.
20:44Step your knees.
20:46A few miles down the road at Sienna's training centre...
20:49That's it.
20:50Fitness fanatic Radha has tagged along with Gabby to learn some new moves.
20:54Hi, Laura.
20:56Hello.
20:56Hi, I'm Gabby.
20:57How are you?
20:57Hiya, good.
20:59Hi, Laura.
21:00I'm Radha.
21:01Any chance that I've been able to join in?
21:02Of course.
21:03Coach Sienna.
21:03Let's see what we can do.
21:05I've never met anyone so bouncy or enthusiastic as Radha.
21:09Oh, that's good.
21:13That's very good.
21:19How's that?
21:21Stop.
21:21Let's do something harder.
21:23Okay.
21:30You must be so proud.
21:32It's not a lot.
21:32Yeah.
21:33After Raffi got poorly, she didn't train for that whole year.
21:37So when it got to finals, she hadn't trained.
21:39But she won that bronze medal at the World Cup.
21:42At the World Cup?
21:43Yeah.
21:44With no practice?
21:46Yeah.
21:47Incredible.
21:47Yeah.
21:49Jump, flip.
21:53When we went to the World Championships,
21:56she cried all the way from our house to the airport.
21:58She was just absolutely hysterical.
22:00She doesn't like leaving him.
22:01She likes to be with him all the time.
22:03Is it that she feels responsible or she just feels she needs to be there?
22:05She said goodbye to Raffi when he had the cardiac arrest.
22:08He didn't breathe for 23 minutes,
22:09so she came in to intend to go very briefly to say goodbye.
22:15She was so traumatised by that moment.
22:18Little Sienna.
22:19It must have felt like her whole world turned upside down suddenly.
22:22Yeah.
22:22She missed a lot for a year and a half.
22:28Now she still doesn't train the same way.
22:31We're going to sort that out.
22:33OK.
22:33Yeah.
22:33Sienna, not able to practise,
22:36flies to a World Championships
22:39and wins a medal.
22:41You know, this is incredible talent.
22:44The dance studio is not just a kind of nice-to-have luxury.
22:55This is...
22:55This is something she needs.
22:57All right, let's try it.
23:02Round of applause!
23:04That was really good.
23:06Great.
23:07Good coach.
23:07Very good coach.
23:08You're on it!
23:16Should we go check it out?
23:17Yeah.
23:19This was Sienna's bedroom,
23:21and now we're turning it into the dance studio.
23:23Very nice.
23:24So what I want you to do is magically make it work.
23:27OK.
23:28So seeing Sienna dance,
23:30this space with the width is going to be beautiful.
23:32We want to actually do a massive wall of mirrors
23:34and then shelves filled with trophies.
23:37It's all going to be amazing, isn't it?
23:38Well, I'm telling you,
23:40it should be good.
23:40I mean, right now,
23:42there's no space.
23:43I'm feeling so tense right now.
23:47It's like playing Tetris or Jenga or something.
24:00Look at this new platform.
24:02How fantastic is this?
24:03End of day two,
24:04and suddenly you've got a completely raised guard
24:06with a fantastic surface
24:08that you're going to be able to pave on really easily.
24:10Yes.
24:10It's going to be completely flush with the extension,
24:13which is amazing.
24:14Is it?
24:14Because that looks to me like it's still going to be...
24:17They're still...
24:17That's a bit low.
24:18That's a bit low.
24:19Don't worry.
24:19Normally go about 50mm.
24:21We're going to go about 70 to 80mm.
24:23Yeah.
24:23All right.
24:24All right.
24:24It's all good.
24:25It's all fine.
24:25It's not a bad time doing it, is it?
24:27It's not interfering.
24:28Basically, that's what they're saying, yeah.
24:29Leave us alone.
24:29We know what we're doing.
24:33We've got the technical drawings here.
24:35Yeah, so that's Rafi's hoist system.
24:37As work continues downstairs...
24:40How much do we need?
24:41All stairs landing.
24:42Ten litres more than enough.
24:43Ten litres.
24:44OK, I'll sort it out.
24:45OK.
24:46Gabby is upstairs finalising designs in the bedrooms.
24:49So I'm just looking through Sienna's colour scheme.
24:51This softest, softest...
24:53Almost like a plaster pink.
24:56And then this very, very soft green.
25:00And I found this beautiful paper bringing in this third colour,
25:05this soft, warm brown.
25:07So it's the rule, really, of three colours
25:09that brings the room alive.
25:11For more than a year, she was living in a hospital,
25:13so getting a sense of her own bedroom and her own space.
25:18So important.
25:21Across the hall, Laura and Dean's room
25:24is getting a very different style.
25:26Oh, my.
25:27Gabby, what have you done?
25:29This is calm, restful bedroom.
25:31It's all right for this room to be dark.
25:32Look, this reflects the light, but in a soft way.
25:36Right, hang on.
25:37So we're going to...
25:38Oh, stop it.
25:39But look, it's dark, you see?
25:40Oh, no, OK, OK.
25:40Glimmery.
25:41And we're just painting this dark,
25:42because when you're using a dark paper,
25:44you want to paint the wall underneath it dark.
25:46It's like you don't have a white line.
25:48Don't want white lines, do we, darling?
25:49What do you think of the colour, ladies?
25:51Yes.
25:52Oh, my.
25:55We'll see if we can take this one out.
25:59The day shift is finished.
26:01Oh, man, it's getting late.
26:04But the asbestos team are just getting started.
26:08Closing it down, so pack up.
26:10Couple of minutes, please.
26:13With the house locked down,
26:14all we can do is hope they can clear the asbestos in one night
26:17so work can continue tomorrow.
26:29Offer job.
26:30There you go.
26:32Well, that's a bit of a result.
26:34Always go the extra mile, and we always do.
26:36So it's a new window,
26:37and that's the last thing on the house
26:38that I wasn't happy with,
26:40which I am now happy with.
26:41How are we doing?
26:44All right, good, good, good, good, good.
26:47There's skylight to go in here.
26:49One there and one there.
26:51Plumbing going in.
26:52Electric going in.
26:54The main spine wall of the house
26:55has now been completely rebuilt.
26:57You could run a rhinoceros at that wall now
26:59and it wouldn't go down,
27:00and that's what's holding up the middle of the house.
27:03Having solved the big structural issues,
27:05we can now start turning it into a home.
27:08People, to your right.
27:10That's it.
27:13Oh, God.
27:14Good.
27:15Turn it off.
27:16Oh, God.
27:17Now what?
27:18What's happened?
27:20Pull it off.
27:20Pull it off.
27:22Oh, my God.
27:23It's like a swimming pool in here.
27:25We're going to have to shut everything off.
27:28All right, turn it off.
27:31Let's have it.
27:32Turn it off.
27:33Turn it off.
27:33Turn it off.
27:35Fifteen guys wrenching wood off.
27:37Water squirting everywhere.
27:39Lots of shouting.
27:40It's just not civilising here today.
27:47Something about this wall.
27:48It's the wall of doom.
27:51Fresh up, power and half back in there.
27:53Very good.
27:55No, it's not good for my stress levels, darling.
27:57No.
27:57I'm taking five minutes away from the building site to go and see one of Raffi's physio sessions,
28:10which are quite intense by all accounts.
28:11One more wheel.
28:12One more wheel.
28:15One more wheel.
28:17Hand open.
28:18Good boy.
28:19You got it.
28:20Good.
28:22To help improve his strength and mobility, Dean brings Raffi to this specialist physiotherapy
28:27centre three times a week.
28:29So you can stick the wheel here.
28:32All your favourite colours, rainbow car.
28:34Hello, everyone.
28:35Hi.
28:35How are you?
28:36Good.
28:36How are you doing?
28:37I'm all right.
28:38Thank you very much.
28:38How are you doing, Raffi?
28:39Can I have a five?
28:40Like, fist pump?
28:41We'll try standing.
28:43Just standing?
28:43Standing, yeah.
28:46Okay.
28:48Okay.
28:48A little bit tight.
28:50Is that a bit tough, Raffi?
28:52Yeah.
28:53Very nice.
29:03Good boy.
29:04Amazing.
29:05This is lovely.
29:06Yes, sir.
29:07You got it.
29:08Great job, Raffi.
29:09Well done.
29:10Great determination.
29:14Little smile there.
29:15Yeah, okay.
29:17Amazing.
29:19I'm going to borrow your dad for a minute.
29:20Is that all right, Raffi?
29:21Yeah.
29:23I'm not astounded by what I've just seen.
29:28Did you ever believe you'd get to this stage?
29:29No.
29:30No.
29:32He couldn't even move his eyes.
29:34When they said, switch the machines off, it's time to let him go,
29:38and your decision was, well, let him decide.
29:41If he survives, he survives, and if he doesn't, he doesn't.
29:43Yes.
29:44I can't make that decision for him,
29:45especially, you know, five days into such a catastrophic brain injury,
29:50three cardiac arrests and a stroke.
29:53I need to give that boy time.
29:57What I found in this journey is that you can create function by repetition.
30:05He was locked in a body, so I did it for him,
30:07and we just stretched arms out ten hours a day for months,
30:12until one day I just felt this electric feeling behind his arms,
30:15and that was him moving me.
30:17So, given that, what's his possibility?
30:24He has a lifetime to go, but I know he can go right up the scale.
30:30You're running yourself into the ground in the process.
30:35It's an all-or-nothing thing for me.
30:37Will you ease up at some stage?
30:39No.
30:40No.
30:40No.
30:41There's plainly a slightly obsessive, compulsive person inside
30:46that, for the first time in your life, is really working.
30:49Yeah, that's it.
30:51Can you try?
30:52Yeah.
30:53Okay.
30:55Happy?
30:56I think you're doing an amazing job.
30:58You're working really hard, aren't you?
31:00Yeah.
31:01And I'm going to see you in a few days' time.
31:02Is that all right?
31:04Yeah.
31:04Shall I paint your bedroom pink?
31:07I'm sorry.
31:09Smash it.
31:10Give me a fist bump.
31:11I've got to get back to work.
31:12Do you want your bedroom pink?
31:16He didn't say yes to that, did he?
31:18He shook his head.
31:20That boy's in there and battling hard to recapture a normal life,
31:24and we give him the right environment where they can operate as a family,
31:28and who knows where he can get to.
31:30Can you see those beautiful smiles?
31:32Hey.
31:42This is going to be the creative hub of the house,
31:46so that both Dean and Sienna can all work in here.
31:49So where are you going to tuck this recording today?
31:51In this gap here?
31:51Yeah, then, exactly here.
31:53Seeing Dean's dedication to Raffi's recovery.
31:56So I want to actually do a floating desk going here.
31:59I want him to have a space for his passion for making music.
32:02As well as a whole bunch of floating shelves,
32:04and everything should have a space and a home for him to work at.
32:07Nice, you've got a lot of work on your hands then.
32:09Only if you don't use to do it.
32:10Seriously, yeah.
32:12It is madness.
32:21How many sugars?
32:22Just one, please.
32:24We're going to create an opening where the window was,
32:26make that a doorway.
32:28We're now halfway through the build,
32:29and work has begun creating a wider front entrance for Raffi's wheelchair.
32:34We need to get it done as quick as possible.
32:35Let's go, let's go.
32:3626 circuits we've got.
32:42So far we haven't found anything wrong, have we?
32:44Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
32:46Oh, you're living in half a touch.
32:48With the house taking shape...
32:54How many appliances?
32:56Six.
32:57Today is a big day of deliveries.
33:00I've got loads to do.
33:01I need to fit a kitchen.
33:03All the decorating done.
33:04The tiles on, flooring down.
33:06My to-do lift is still taller than me.
33:09Yeah, mate.
33:11Do you want to get them in?
33:12Can do, mate, yeah.
33:13The specially made skylight windows have arrived
33:15to allow much-needed daylight into the dark extension.
33:18After three.
33:19One, two, three.
33:22Mate, mate.
33:23One dink and it's gone.
33:26This is tight.
33:28Gently, gently.
33:29Gently.
33:30Watch the walls.
33:31Perfect.
33:35Tom, don't drop it.
33:37I'll try not to.
33:38Yeah.
33:39All right.
33:39Right after three.
33:40One, two, three.
33:44Hang on.
33:46Nice and steady.
33:47All right, it's nearly all your...
33:48Keep going past this.
33:49Keep going.
33:50Lovely.
33:50Lovely.
33:53Anything to do with glass gets my heart pumping.
34:01That is a lovely piece of glass.
34:07It is accessible.
34:09We can get a wheelchair for you,
34:10but it just looks a bit tight, doesn't it?
34:11If we take this unit out, then,
34:13push this over by around roughly 200.
34:15Yeah.
34:15It'll just mean it'll just flow, then.
34:19This might be the most beautiful use of roofing batons
34:22that I've ever seen.
34:24It's looking mad out here.
34:26It is, isn't it?
34:26There's a big transformation going on.
34:28It's all happening right now.
34:29The whole, like, outside pergola kitchen.
34:31Kitchen, dining space.
34:33Like a little garden sanctuary.
34:35That's exactly the word I was about to use.
34:38Lava that up.
34:39It's like hummus, this stuff.
34:43I was just cutting them two edges.
34:47Okay.
34:48Can you come and have a look inside?
34:49We've got a bit of an issue.
34:51With what?
34:52The bath doesn't fit.
34:54What?
34:55No.
34:55A key requirement to keep Rafi at home
34:58is providing him with a fully accessible
35:01hospital-grade bath.
35:02So, we've got a bit of an issue here, Nick,
35:06because we've got a rising-poor bath in here,
35:08but we haven't got the room.
35:09Didn't we have the measurements?
35:10Well, we did,
35:10but we didn't know that we need 40 mil clearance
35:13either side for the van,
35:14because it rises before.
35:15You can't have your hands, obviously, over it
35:16in case it gets trapped going up.
35:17Yeah.
35:18So, where does...
35:19Can we...
35:20Can we take...
35:21Where does this...
35:23I'm like, my mind's going 100 miles an hour.
35:25What we can do, I think,
35:26we've just got a recess in here,
35:27so cut it to the top,
35:29push this back.
35:30Well, that's the only option, isn't it?
35:33When you build at speed,
35:35these things will happen.
35:38That's the sound of a man cutting a plasterboard
35:40so that he can take a wall out.
35:43It's not the sound I wanted to hear
35:44at this stage of the build,
35:45but it is what it is.
35:48Yeah.
35:50All right, it's all yours.
35:55See you on the next one.
35:58Loads of people in the house today.
36:01Just what an amazing team of people.
36:04This must be Raffi's teacher,
36:06with Raffi's teacher written on the hat.
36:09Really helpful.
36:11So, did you work with Raffi
36:13before he got ill?
36:14Yes.
36:15Yeah, yeah.
36:15So, yeah, he just had an amazing brain
36:18that works in such an amazing way.
36:20And he loved different flags
36:22that he knew about,
36:23the maps that he knew.
36:25Yeah.
36:26So, so difficult, isn't it?
36:27Yes.
36:28Yeah.
36:29Yeah.
36:30It's amazing now, though,
36:31seeing him the other day
36:33and some of that knowledge is coming back
36:35and he's being able to use it again.
36:37And when I asked him about
36:38what colour he wanted his room,
36:40I went through lots of colours
36:41and he kept saying,
36:41no, no, no.
36:42And then I said,
36:43do you want a rainbow?
36:44And he was like, yes.
36:45Of all the colours.
36:47You might choose one.
36:49That was such a useful chat.
36:51So, all systems go for rainbows.
36:56Push.
37:01This is good.
37:02I can actually show you now
37:03what the resolution
37:04to that conversation was earlier.
37:06Especially taking the wall back 40 minutes,
37:08you can see a recess here.
37:09And that gives us enough room now
37:10for the rise and full bath
37:11without there being a problem.
37:14Pretty.
37:20So, the hoist is all in now.
37:21All in, yeah.
37:22William, relax.
37:23What we want to do
37:24is just get you to sit down
37:25with this as there's lovely.
37:26Thanks very much.
37:27So, what's the weight capacity on this?
37:28130 kilos.
37:30OK.
37:30And what do you reckon you are, Bill?
37:3278.
37:32That's his age.
37:33No, you're weight, Billy.
37:35Oh, did you have to do that
37:36once a time?
37:37Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep.
37:41Comfortable?
37:42It's very nice.
37:43It's very nice.
37:43As the lad gets bigger,
37:45it's getting more and more difficult
37:47for the parents to pick up and carry.
37:49I'll tell you what,
37:50this is beautiful.
37:51There we go.
37:52And back to you.
37:53More, more.
37:54You're in gold.
37:55What on earth is going on?
37:58Testing it out.
37:59We're testing the gasp.
38:01What do you think, Gabby?
38:02It needs a bit more weight.
38:04Do you want to try?
38:05Whoa.
38:07Honestly, for your own safety,
38:11for your own safety,
38:12I'm going to get you out of there.
38:13Yes, in my house.
38:18Right, so there's a lot of activity in here.
38:20The raised bed is rendered.
38:22It's ready for the soil to be put in.
38:24The kitchen backing is going on.
38:26I'm just anxious to get going
38:28and get the plants in now.
38:32Which walls do you want artwork on?
38:34I want it on all the walls.
38:36It's a feeling of a rainbow wraparound mural.
38:40Okay.
38:42With so much colour going into Raffi's bedroom...
38:44Paint's all in here.
38:46...we brought in artist Fanny.
38:48Oh, exciting.
38:49...to give it the full rainbow treatment.
38:52Oh, look at that.
38:53That is gorgeous.
38:55Oh, Violet Vanity.
38:57Oh, what gorgeous name.
38:59Bengal Tiger.
39:00Oh, my God.
39:03What's that one called?
39:04I want to know the names of it.
39:05It's called Fanny's Lipstick.
39:06It's called Fanny's Lipstick.
39:08I think we've got a name.
39:09I think we've got a thing of rainbow.
39:10Oh.
39:10They're planting it out.
39:25Oh.
39:28With just 24 hours to go,
39:30there's still a huge amount of work to do
39:32before we can hand this house back to the family.
39:34It's a really serious paper.
39:37After you've finished,
39:38I'll tell you how much you've finished.
39:42Today's a real day of just fine-tuning.
39:44Wardrobes are going up,
39:45doors are going on,
39:46and a lot of final touches.
39:48Nice one.
39:49Is it just one corner that they're like?
39:50Yeah, just one.
39:52What is it like in your head at the moment?
39:53A lot of loud shrieking noises.
40:01So it's that final push.
40:02You've got to get everything done.
40:04Hang on for two seconds.
40:07You've got it.
40:08Yep.
40:08Oh, my God.
40:09Bath is coming in.
40:12This rise and fall bath
40:14is a main requirement for the hospital
40:16to allow Raffi to stay at home.
40:19Right.
40:21But after messing up with the measurements,
40:23now we'll find out if the bath actually fits.
40:26I hate this bit.
40:28Try and spin it in.
40:28Yeah, pivot.
40:31Yeah.
40:32We're right on the wall.
40:34We're right on the wall here as well.
40:36Yeah, on the wall.
40:36Well.
40:37Can you not lift it up a bit more?
40:40I can't watch.
40:41I can't watch.
40:43Lower it down.
40:44Oh, oh.
40:45Right, lower it down.
40:46Yep, yep, yep.
40:48Push it down.
40:49Look, here's a cent.
40:52Yeah, you're right, R.M.
40:53I think we're done.
40:54You down?
40:55Yeah.
40:55That's what you call a tight fit.
40:58Guys, does it fit?
40:59Like a glove.
41:01Mwah, mwah.
41:02Oh, and that is why you shouldn't build a house in eight days,
41:05because it's annoying that.
41:07This is all absolutely vital kit going in now.
41:11And it's going to mean this little boy can stay at home with his family.
41:15Yeah, it's everything.
41:16Notched back to create a curve.
41:21Really clever.
41:22Love it.
41:27The rest of the house is now starting to take shape.
41:31Does that fit in there?
41:34Fits.
41:36Perfect.
41:39I really love this part of the build.
41:40All of a sudden, everything starts to come together.
41:43You can see a house turn into a home.
41:45I love it.
41:46How's it going, Liam?
41:47This is so exciting.
41:49I'm so happy to start getting plants in the garden.
41:52That's an amazing bit of care.
41:54Yeah, this hospital bed.
41:55There's an auto-function on it as well.
41:57You don't need to turn the patient.
41:59It does it for them.
42:00But this will make a massive difference.
42:01Thank you so much.
42:04Yeah, it's fine.
42:06All right, one, two, three.
42:10I want it to shine inwards.
42:14Would you like me to stay in and help out with these?
42:16No, go away so we can do this.
42:18I'd like you to have considered it for a couple of seconds before saying, like, no, so definitely.
42:22But all right.
42:28That's only like half of them.
42:30The house is almost finished.
42:36It's all coming together.
42:38But there's one last thing that needs to go in.
42:41Hello, mate.
42:42Oh, all right, Nick.
42:44Oh, look at that.
42:46Raffi's toy box.
42:48I just think it's a fabulous way to keep all those things available for him.
42:52You know, as his rehab picks up.
42:54Available, but just not on site all the time.
42:57Exactly that.
42:57Yeah, yeah.
42:58Good morning.
43:23Good morning.
43:24How are we feeling?
43:25I'm not sure how I'm feeling.
43:26I don't know how to feel.
43:27I'm really excited.
43:29Yeah.
43:29Ready to come and see it?
43:30Yeah.
43:31Absolutely.
43:32OK, come with me.
43:34Before we arrived, this 1970s house had terrible access issues and was a series of chaotic and
43:41disconnected rooms.
43:42The living room was completely taken over for Raffi's care, giving the family no space
43:49to spend quality time together.
43:51After running out of money, the half-finished extension had little prospect of being completed.
43:56And with Raffi requiring so much specialist equipment, a permanent move back to hospital
44:01was looking inevitable.
44:03But in just eight days, we've created a fully accessible entrance to rooms that now have
44:15their own distinct purpose.
44:16A state-of-the-art kitchen connects to a living dining room filled with daylight, created from
44:23the unfinished extension.
44:26Access to the new kitchen garden is now seamless, providing a space for the family to eat and
44:32enjoy together.
44:33Raffi has his own bathroom with rise and fall sink and bath, leading to a brand new bedroom
44:39complete with hospital-grade hoist, but keeping the touches that make it a perfect room for
44:46a young lad.
44:50Upstairs, for the first time in over a year, Dean and Laura have their own bedroom, a quiet
44:55sanctuary and place to relax.
44:58Across the hall, Sienna has a bedroom to herself again.
45:01And for a world champion dancer, a world champion dance studio, with ample space for Dean's
45:08music equipment.
45:09But will our work get a gold medal and allow Raffi to stay at home?
45:15Let yourself in.
45:20Absolutely stunning.
45:24Look at this.
45:25This is just everything we need.
45:28I can see myself cooking.
45:29No, I love it.
45:30I love it so much.
45:33So much.
45:35It's beautiful.
45:36I love that he can just go through as well.
45:39There's no...
45:40No wall.
45:42Yeah.
45:42It's so light.
45:43For Gabby, bringing light into this building was a really important thing.
45:47Look at the pictures on the wall.
45:49Look at this.
45:49I've just seen him stood up there.
45:55That's all.
46:00Is it the picture of him standing there?
46:02Yeah.
46:02Yeah.
46:04Thankfully, he looks into his sister's eyes like that now.
46:07But he hasn't stood.
46:09Yeah.
46:09He will.
46:10He will.
46:11When I came to physio with you, he stood with the help of the rack.
46:14He did.
46:14Yeah.
46:15So he's getting there, isn't he?
46:17Absolutely.
46:19What's this?
46:20Will you give it a pull?
46:23Oh, it's got all his trains and stuff.
46:25When I came to visit, there was a box of his toys that were a horrible reminder of the toys that he's not playing with anymore.
46:32Yeah.
46:33Here they are for whenever he's ready for them.
46:35Yeah.
46:36What a wonderful idea.
46:38Love it.
46:38I love everything about it.
46:43Oh, my day.
46:44It's his rainbow bedroom.
46:46He will love it.
46:49Perfect.
46:50Perfect.
46:52Look how cosy his bed looks.
46:54That doesn't look like a hospital bed, does it?
46:56No.
46:57The hoist.
46:59The hoist.
47:00This was the hoist.
47:01Yeah, exactly.
47:02Just grab it and pull it towards us.
47:04It covers the whole room.
47:08So you can pick him up and move him to a chair, move him to his bed.
47:12And there's no equipment out.
47:14Yeah, there's no equipment.
47:15There's actually places for the equipment to go.
47:17Yeah.
47:17If you follow me over here, I'm going to drag this through.
47:23Oh, this is mine.
47:28My love for this.
47:29Absolutely stunning.
47:31Absolutely incredible.
47:32Look at this.
47:33Rise and pull bath, rise and pull sink.
47:36I cannot get my head around this.
47:38I absolutely love it.
47:38It's everything we could have ever wanted and so much more.
47:44Upstairs have become a space dominated by reminders of the past,
47:48when it should be a place to relax and recharge.
47:51I love the doors.
47:53The doors are beautiful.
47:54But look at this room.
47:56Look at this.
47:58You've got a little seating area.
48:00This is just absolutely incredible.
48:02It's such a grown-up space.
48:05Every room's got the right feel, hasn't it?
48:06Yes.
48:07Your rooms were multi-purpose, and so there was nowhere where you had any respites.
48:12Yeah.
48:12And now we've got a bedroom again.
48:14I'll read here as well.
48:15I haven't read since Raffi got poorly.
48:16It's going to take some time, isn't it, to realise that this is ours, and the battle is over.
48:25You fought and fought and fought and held on long enough until the community could come and do this.
48:31This is it now?
48:32Yeah.
48:32You have actually won.
48:35Yeah.
48:38It's pure relief.
48:39I just can't wait for the kids to see it.
48:41Shall we go get the kids and show them?
48:43Yeah.
48:43Yeah.
48:43Yes, please.
48:44You've got this ramp, Raff.
48:49Look.
48:50That's easier, isn't it, Raff?
48:52Yeah.
48:54Shall we show you, Raff?
48:55Let's get that door open.
48:57Is it a bit different?
48:59Look at this.
49:01Is it a bit different?
49:06Raffi, would you like to see your new bedroom?
49:09Raffi, would you like to see your new bedroom?
49:40Accutive.
49:41Yes.
49:41Happy, happy.
49:43Do you love it?
49:45Yeah.
49:49Everything you need, Raff?
49:51I think Raffi approves.
49:53Do you want to show them the new bathroom?
49:54Absolutely.
49:57Look at this, Raff.
50:00Do you see all your flags around the room?
50:02Yeah.
50:05You've seen a child happier.
50:06What's your favourite?
50:10The bedroom or the bathroom?
50:13Yeah.
50:13The bedroom.
50:14The rainbow bedroom.
50:16Look at that.
50:17Raffi isn't the only one getting a brand new bedroom.
50:20Now, we've changed things around a bit.
50:21Whoa.
50:30I love it.
50:31You're not sleeping on a mattress on the floor in the corner now.
50:33It's okay.
50:44Happy tears.
50:45Not sad tears.
50:46Do you want to be good?
50:47It's your bed.
50:48Yeah.
50:49It's really grown up.
50:51Yeah.
50:53I really like it.
50:54So that's it then.
50:55We've done...
50:56Hang on, there's one of the room, isn't it?
50:57Oh, yeah.
51:05Wow.
51:08That is so nice.
51:10Ooh.
51:11That's a perfect look.
51:12Well, it are.
51:13What about the mirrors?
51:15They're so much better than the other one.
51:16They are so much better.
51:17I love it.
51:24You deserve it because you have been amazing.
51:28You've been the best sister.
51:31So you deserve absolutely everything and so much more.
51:36I need one last thing from you to help me out.
51:39You need to go downstairs, send Dean up here.
51:41Yeah.
51:41But don't tell him why.
51:43Okay.
51:44With so much of Dean's time dedicated to Raffi's physio,
51:48I had to find a way of bringing music back into his life.
51:52Here he comes.
51:54Wow.
51:57Look at this.
52:01This is Sienna's dance studio.
52:03Yeah.
52:04But we had this little nook.
52:05This set-up is just so lovely and tucked away.
52:09And when I said to you, you need to look after yourself,
52:11and you said, thanks, but I probably won't.
52:14Yeah.
52:15And seeing that, I could not, you know.
52:18What did you say to me?
52:19He's all right as long as I'm around.
52:21Yeah.
52:22I did say that, yeah.
52:23So you've got to be around.
52:24Yeah.
52:26Oh, we'll take you downstairs and show you the back garden.
52:28It's almost impossible to do anything with,
52:30because it's like half a metre lower.
52:32No, no.
52:32But we'll show you it anyway.
52:33Come on.
52:33Look at this.
52:45Look at this.
52:45Yeah.
52:46Look at all the herbs of Raffi.
52:47Look at this.
52:48You've got a living vertical herb ball.
52:52Basically, all of those herbs and things you're going to be able to pick and put into smoothies.
52:55Seal this, Raffi.
52:56Seal these plants.
52:58It's all going to go in your tummy.
53:00Oh, you love it, don't you?
53:04Do I have a seat?
53:05Yes.
53:05I was expecting, like, a ramp or something, and it was flat.
53:10It was big engineering.
53:13Couldn't ask for more.
53:14It is literally the perfect home for us.
53:17What do you think of this, Raffi?
53:21Good boy.
53:21No.
53:22Thank you for letting us come and play in your house.
53:25It's a really good boy.
53:29Nice burp.
53:32But rebuilding this house for Raffi, Sienna, Laura and Dean wouldn't have happened without
53:37our amazing team of volunteers.
53:39Shall we go and say hello to my friends?
53:55Yeah.
53:56Good.
53:56All right.
53:56Let's go.
53:57Ready.
54:06Climby.
54:07He has signed thank you about four times in that time.
54:26He's still going.
54:29The quality of the work in there is unbelievable.
54:33Like, that is stunning, and it has been built with love, and we can feel that.
54:36But more importantly is the quality of the people that have done it, and you guys are
54:41just, you know, the best.
54:54We've got everything we want and need, and beyond it, it's just utterly phenomenal.
54:59So, Sienna, what is the best part of the house?
55:03The garden.
55:04The garden?
55:08What's your favourite?
55:09The living room?
55:12The bathroom?
55:15The rainbow bedroom?
55:16The garden.
55:17Yeah.
55:19Yeah.
55:23How does life look now going forward?
55:25You know, for once, exciting.
55:27I mean, not only that, he's got above and beyond what he needs.
55:30We'll be able to stay home.
55:31He's good.
55:32He's with us.
55:32We got Raffi home.
55:34What a bunch of people, you know?
55:53The world is full of more good people than bad people.
55:55They're just not the ones with the megaphones.
55:57Your medals and trophies.
56:01I spent, like, two hours hanging them all up.
56:05We always make a promise to our family, we're going to do this, but it was quite a heavier
56:08duty promise this time around, because if we didn't deliver on that promise, then that
56:15little boy doesn't get to stay at home, and it's clear that his rehab here is working,
56:21and it's working because he's with his family, with the people that love him and that he loves.
56:25Yeah.
56:26Yeah.
56:27And now the possibilities are endless, all because of these people putting in the time
56:34to make the difference.
