00:00Good afternoon from West Bromwich Albion's training ground, a bit of a rare trip for
00:05me out here to Walsall to see Ryan Mason, the Albion head coach, head of their game
00:12with Preston on Saturday and some significant injury news. Tamabani made his return for
00:20the under-21s in midweek but he's not going to be involved against the Lily Whites tomorrow.
00:26Two men who might be, however, released in the squad, Daryl Dike and Carlin Grantz.
00:31Dike back in training after a hamstring injury and Grantz, well no one was expecting him to
00:38be back this quick actually, but he's been back training with the first team and both
00:44could be involved in the squad tomorrow, Ryan Mason sent them to make a decision later on.
00:49But positive news for Albion in terms of getting some forward power back in the team, just nine
00:56goals scored in nine matches so far this season, which is not, you know, is not where Albion
01:03would want to be, obviously there's room to improve that, but so far you feel that Albion
01:07have perhaps not got full value for their performances because of the, you know, kind of not having
01:14that killer touch in front of goal. Obviously Josh Madger coming back from an injury, but
01:19Grant, Dike and Banny on the comeback trail. Ryan Mason's set to be having no shortage of
01:28options available up front. Start of another busy week for the Baggies, they go to Watford
01:33on Wednesday and then Ipswich next Saturday, a really quick turnaround. This really does feel
01:39like the point where the championship season ramps up a gear. You've played nine matches in
01:43the first two months and they're going to play six in the space of three weeks and the table can
01:48change very rapidly. Obviously Albion, you know, a good start, not a great start, but they're not
01:55badly placed and if they can have a good week, particularly by getting a win against Preston
02:00tomorrow, we've had a really good start, then it sets things up nicely.
02:04All right.
