00:00China is keeping up its military pressure on Taiwan, sending 39 aircraft and nine Navy
00:07ships near the country between Thursday and Friday morning.
00:11Taiwan's Defense Ministry says a first wave of 18 aircraft entered Taiwan's Air Defense
00:16Identification Zone, or ADIZ.
00:18Two of those were drones, while the rest were warplanes.
00:21The second wave began on Friday morning, with 17 more entering the ADIZ.
00:26Taiwan's ADIZ is not part of Taiwan's airspace, but serves as a defensive buffer.
00:31Chinese planes and vessels routinely enter it as part of a gray zone strategy to wear
00:36down Taiwan's defenses.
