00:22Expansion Pass 3.
00:24Michelle, as our resident narrative wizard,
00:27what can we expect from the story in Expansion Pass 3?
00:29Expansion Pass 3 brings us
00:31to new corners of the Astor Sea.
00:33We see some new faces,
00:35some old ones, and people who
00:37have played a smaller role before
00:39can now step into the spotlight.
00:41Can you give us any details, any names?
00:43I don't want to spoil anything,
00:45but for Secrets of the Archmages
00:47we will be revisiting a wizard
00:49that has gone through a lot recently
00:51and one fiery lady wizard
00:53who is out for revenge.

00:57We've done a lot of reworks of old systems in the past.
01:01Is that continuing Expansion Pass 3?
01:03I think so. I think that while we love what we put into the base game
01:05there's always room for improvement
01:07and as always, all reworks will be coming as part of a free update.

01:17Hard question. So far
01:19I think it has to be Rise from Ruin.
01:21Getting to work on a post-apocalyptic setting
01:23with sandworms and scorpions is very exciting.

01:29In the previous expansions we've been looking into
01:31the history of Age of Wonders.
01:33With this Expansion Pass we're looking to explore
01:35new lands and new places.
01:37Things that the series has never seen before.

01:41in Expansion Pass 3, I bet you're wondering
01:43what you can sink your teeth into first.
01:45Well, it's funny you should ask.
01:56What inspired the team to do a vampire-themed DLC?
01:59Well, we've always been really interested in what the community wants.
02:01A lot of people really wanted to see vampires
02:03and that idea really resonated with us.
02:05Our elder vampires are a very cool blend
02:07between classic tropes and more modern visuals.
02:10It's very easy and fun to make unique, personalized versions of a vampire.
02:14Vampires are great characters to tell stories with.
02:17They often represent the worst in humanity in the greatest ways.
02:21Is this the first time we've seen vampires in Age of Wonders?
02:23There have been vampires, but they played a lesser role.
02:26Now they really step into the spotlight
02:29as far as their skin can handle it.
02:31Can you make clitably vampires?
02:33Yes, of course.
02:35You'll start off in your special spooky castle
02:39with your cape and your fangs.
02:41The sun is removed from the land.
02:44Clouds darkening everything.
02:46Bats flying across the sky.
02:49And you just go and eat people.
