00:00Ah, Billy, no!
00:12Danny!
00:16Trackies, come out!
00:23Get the only one off the floor, it's all shit on the floor.
00:26Alright, darling.
00:30Alright, I'm on, I'm on.
00:36Okay, baby, you okay?
00:38Billy's parents are sharing this video to raise awareness about her condition.
00:41Billy was born 13 weeks early, weighing just a tiny 790 grams.
00:45She was born this early due to me having severe preeclampsia.
00:48I got super poorly at 24 weeks, and it just went downhill from there, really.
00:52My blood pressure was ridiculously high,
00:54and I had swollen to the point where I just didn't even recognize myself anymore.
00:59Shortly after being born, Billy's lungs collapsed on her,
01:02and she was diagnosed with chronic lung disease and tracheobronchomalacia.
01:06We had lots of difficult discussions about her not making it throughout her hospital stay.
01:10And ultimately, when she was six months old, the decision was made to give her a tracheostomy.
01:14We decided on this to give her the best chance of growing and getting home,
01:17and also being able to develop as normal as possible.
01:21She missed out on so much of that.
01:23Even as they're trying their hardest to be the best parents for Billy,
01:26the people following their story online haven't always been kind.
01:30Some of the comments are awful.
01:32Like, you can't put her through that.
01:33This is no life for a baby.
01:35You're being cruel.
01:36It's just rude and ignorant.
01:39She's faced every hurdle that you can't even think of, if I'm honest.
01:43All of this is to support her and let her grow and develop as normally as possible,
01:48and then hopefully have it out one day.
01:49But some of the comments are awful.
01:52But after months of intense treatment, they're starting to see encouraging results.
01:57We have some huge, huge news.
02:00Billy's allowed to do two 30-minute breaks throughout the day,
02:03which they will revisit in a few weeks to see how she's doing
02:06and whether we can increase any further.
02:08There was, of course, a little bit of drama at first.
02:10She coughed a lot and then threw up.
02:12But we've been reassured that she just needs time to adjust and get used to breathing all by herself.
02:17Since we've been home, though, she's been absolutely smashing it.
02:19I think maybe she was just out of her comfort zone.
02:22I still can't believe that for the first time in her life,
02:25Billy is breathing all by herself for one whole hour.
02:29And that's not the only progress.
02:31After losing her voice to a tracheotomy, Billy is finally finding it again.
02:36She's currently doing really well.
02:48Her future is looking really, really positive.
02:50Fingers crossed she carries on absolutely smashing it.
02:53And then she can just be running around the school playground one day
02:57and God will be thinking, wow, we've made it.
