32:34franklin's baldwellers uh also four point five eight one ball to go from this over and for 12.
32:46that's through the gap runs here for smith he may get four he's timed it well
32:52oh brilliant stop the tori with the slide the dive and the scoop back i'll tell you what it was
32:59very nearly a run out as well vincent doing the backing up
33:06sliced away over backward point that'll be four smith taking the initiative here
33:21yeah the field's up so why not just a bit of room see that

33:35do you think he really knew where it was going well i don't know where he
33:38wanted to hit it over wide mid off i think
33:44but smith is not going to die wondering he's trying to put the bowler off his stride he's
33:49played a beautiful shot there nothing fortunate or lucky about that
33:54that's quite deliberately played back with a square with fine leg up
33:59and it's gone slashes at that one outside off stump that was to be hit but gets a thin edge
34:08and this really is a big blow for south africa
34:12so oram he struck boucher shakes his head but there's nothing he could do
34:17boucher going at one shot outside the off stump legitimate cut shot didn't get enough bat on it
34:27oram is ecstatic boucher makes his way back for eight south africa 50 for four
34:34so 54 4 in 15 overs yes that's the final power play taken by the new zealanders
34:46and they certainly are having the south africans on a tight leash and against ropes one would imagine
34:52that's nudged away through that wake on sleep area
35:05but again a lot of ground to cow for the man at third man conceding the second run
35:10it's known as a hard-hitting batsman kemp
35:22frankly indeed has been quite a supportive bowler to the others on the other end
35:28and that really is a good teamwork from new zealand's point of view
35:36drives beautifully at this time beats the man at mid-off there's no question of stopping that
35:41that was full written all over it from the point it left the bat
35:44got hold of this one graham smith was up there and he hit it in the center of the bat
36:00vittori at mid-off didn't have a chance gave up the gallop very early well-timed
36:07i haven't seen many well-timed shots on this pitch
36:19after the bad the umpire benson unmoved ended the oval 62 for four
36:32that really was a full pitch delivery just did a little bit smith got on the front foot looked to
36:37whip it away
36:44appeared to get a bit of a inside edge but even if it didn't it looked to me like it would have been
36:50missing leg
36:58right and that's a great shot that's a beauty just hit it into the gap
37:07hit with a lot of power he's a big man but this was right in the slot that was a half volley
37:13took a good stride and let the hands go
37:20close and that's in there vittori's on there he'll sit straight to him
37:30so smith looking to try and force the issue which really wasn't
37:34necessary a ball really not short enough probably came on him a little quicker due to the due and just
37:41manages to find vittori at mid-on and graham smith trying to pull this one away this was on to him
37:48a lot earlier than he expected and he just spooned it to mid-on where daniel vittori took a simple
37:57catch south african captain's gone for 42 it's 69 for five so the new batsman sean pollock
38:04can turn the match around must confess he's both pretty well jacob or first delivery to a new batsman in
38:22the right areas
38:42here's a chance directed there could have been a chance they're asking the umpire who's decided
38:48to go upstairs to rudy kurtz in the third umpire
38:54this may be close
38:57has mccullum though disturbed the stumps with his gloves
39:01kemp was left stretching at the last moment there is it to suggest that he felt he was under pressure
39:05quite comfortably in just get the re feeling that because mark benson from that angle was blinded
39:22by the wicked keeper he invented for the third umpire which is a good thing to do
39:37he's got him it's stood up from pollock he's looked down disappointingly at the pitch
39:41he's got a good thing to check for him the easiest of catch has been offered to cover they delighted
39:48boys out in the middle even more delighted well on top young 71 for six now south africa
39:57we'll get into the shot a little too early new batsman will find
40:01things very very difficult jacob or was chipping in now his third wicket in new zealand

40:32good consistency with the bat you should see them home someone a bat through that hasn't happened
40:37issue with their cricket for quite some time now but i can't believe it rye smile

40:47get off strike just in game pick up the single
41:00that's found the gap we're going through with the strike
41:14and he brings two
41:21it goes hard at the ball and raha the ball stops on him
41:24that's one of the reasons why the ball goes in the air but lucky for him it saved him on that occasion
41:31it was going hard it's cleared the infield but good work in the deep by patel
41:36and leg bar as it is it doesn't matter to south africa
41:52as long as they keep getting them
41:54straying in line had a very expensive first over jacob oram had come back quite nicely after that
41:59a rare loose delivery after six overs or so
42:06first over costing a leather runs now he's three for 21 jacob oram
42:15that's a good shot more in control
42:20and it's a quick outfield consider boundaries for south africa and this one has come off the bat by
42:24andrew hall
42:30so often as we've seen this game his final partnership develops at about
42:35six or seven down can it be a situational time here for south africa
42:44well driven by andrew genuine half volley also give him confidence he's a real fighter his hall
42:50thanks darrell it's good shot great shot in fact really well placed by ken peace a danger man here
