00:02Well, if you watched yesterday's bye-bye-bye segment, your boy DRS, you know what?
00:05Just ride it.
00:06Don't outsmart yourself.
00:07Just ride the Dodgers right now.
00:08The hot team got good starting pitching out here.
00:10The lineup technically is better than the Brewers, and you'll hang on.
00:12Five-to-one victory.
00:14Little did I know that Yamamoto would go all nine innings and pitch a sensational nine-inning game on the road.
00:21Now, understand this, too.
00:23The Brewers got up in the bottom of the first inning in a 0-0 game.
00:26The first batter that Yamamoto saw, bang, gone, home run, Bernie Brewer down the slide, hornet's nest.
00:34Brewers are back.
00:35We're ready to go.
00:36This series is tied before it wasn't.
00:39The Dodgers' bats came alive in the second innings, plating two runs here, and they never looked back.
00:43We opened up the show with Joe Ranieri, giving a little caffeinated Joe action, the return of the starting pitcher.
00:48And by the way, the Dodgers are historical starting pitchers here.
00:52A complete game in the NLCS, and quite frankly, they probably could have multiple complete games if they wanted to already throughout this early run in the playoffs.
01:00We always thought the Dodgers had the components to win a World Series, which is why they were the betting favorites for the majority of the season.
01:07And the optics were, ooh, if they're going to stay injured, maybe they can't win it.
01:11They're not injured as starting pitchers, and they are absolutely filthy.
01:15Anybody they send to the mound, absolutely filthy to start these games, Joe.
01:20And you saw it on full display once again last night.
01:23And it's all starting to come together, Donnie, because they actually finished off the regular season pretty decently,
01:29and now they're just rolling in the postseason.
01:32And again, they had to do it against some pretty good offenses here in order to be able to get to this point.
01:39It's kind of, it's just crazy, but it's also $350 million worth of a starting pitcher that you just witnessed last night going complete game, the first one since 2017.
01:52So make no mistake, when you look at this roster of the Dodgers and the payroll, Donnie,
01:58there is a big difference between what they're playing with the Brewers and what they've got on that roster right now.
02:04I think there's only one dude on the Brewers that makes eight figures, and that's Yelich.
02:09Nobody else makes that.
02:11So good luck there competing with the Dodgers with this kind of, the resources they have,
02:16they can go out and get a Yamamoto like this.
02:18And then what are you going to do, Donnie, in October?
