00:00Brewers, of course, we know yesterday beat the Pirates.
00:02That was, of course, the Skeens game.
00:05Here's Skeens after.
00:06I told you it was the shortest outing of his career.
00:09He only went four innings.
00:11He sees, you know what, that's okay.
00:14I've thrown a lot of innings this year.
00:15You've got to have a couple short ones thrown in.
00:17Yeah, it felt good.
00:20Obviously, this one was a little lower volume.
00:21I think we've probably got to mix those in occasionally throughout the year.
00:25But you look at the stretch that we just went on, where a lot of it was on five days,
00:32going seven, eight innings pretty consistently.
00:35I've been happy with it.
00:36My body's in a good spot.
00:38I think that shows or tells me that kind of what we did in the offseason
00:45and throughout spring training and then up to this point in the season
00:48has been the right thing.
00:49So I'm very, very pleased with where my body's at.
00:52But at the end of the day, the focus is going to be to stay on the field.
00:57Because as long as I'm on the field and the rest of our staff is on the field,
01:01it's going to take care of itself because we're pretty good.
01:04Yeah, listen, this guy, have you ever seen anything like,
01:08I know you've seen him get ready for a game.
01:10What he does on the day of the game, his routine of his stretching and his lifting
01:17and all this weights and rubber bands and everything he does, it's insane.
01:23This guy works out like a fiend.
01:27And he, in the offseason, it's even more intense.
01:31He's a monster.
01:33This guy's a monster when it comes to his body.
01:36And he, I mean, he grinds like no other.
01:38And I actually think, like, you could tell from my money,
01:42he's selfish in the fact that he realizes they suck.
01:46And he's just trying to do remarkable things with his stuff and his ERA
01:53and not worry about how bad the Pirates are Hairdryer City.
01:58Because every time he pitches, they never do anything.
02:00Ever.
02:01I mean, they never win when he pitches.
02:04So what did I do yesterday?
02:06You know what I did?
02:07I bet Mizoroski at minus $1.11 and cashed.
02:10Simple as that.
02:12And everybody on SportsGrid knows it.
02:14We're sitting on here doing live TV every day, doing all these picks.
02:17And, you know, we eat the hoagie sandwich when we're wrong.
02:20I was on the Brewers because they never win when the guy pitches.
02:24I mean, on Schemes Day, run to the window the other way.
02:28Honestly.
02:28Fade City.
02:30Got to run to the window whenever he is going.
02:33That's for sure.
02:34All right.
02:35Also yesterday, Padres beat the Nats 1-0.
02:39That finished after we got off the air.
02:40Pavetta, seven innings, three hits, no runs, 10 Ks for him.
02:45Good performance from Kikuchi out in Anaheim as well.
02:49Angels swept the Red Sox with 12 Ks for Kikuchi.
02:54Angels are back to 500 for the first time in over a month.
02:57And, actually, haven't been playing that bad this late in the season.
03:02Are you kidding?
03:02Which is stunning for them.
03:04They swept them yesterday when they were down 2-0 in the first.
03:06I said to you, they're not done yet.
03:08They have been kicking their ass.
03:10I think the Angels will win, and they did.
03:12They swept the series.
03:14And we have not seen Kikuchi strike out 12 guys ever.
03:17So, he's another guy that has pitched without a record to show for it.
03:24When he pitches, they don't win.
03:26But they did yesterday.
03:27So, you know, that is a relatively exciting team.
03:32And we did this yesterday on Coast to Coast.
03:36You gave the money lines, right?
03:39Like, the teams making the most money, and the Angels were right on the stack.
