00:06So there's a big ten there, that's kind of the clue, you're celebrating ten years in business?
00:10Yeah.
00:10So what's Origin all about? What do you do here then?
00:13So we do like nails, beauty, hair extensions, lashes, anything to make you feel confident and make you feel better about yourself.
00:23So yeah, we just like to try and be a part of that.
00:26And is it your business then?
00:28Yeah.
00:28So have you been in this site for ten years?
00:31No, so I've been in the area for about like 16, 17 years, and then I just felt I was ready just to open my own.
00:39It was always my goal, as soon as I started out doing nails, I just wanted my own little salon, as they say.
00:47Yeah, yeah. So what's your customer base then? Is it Oldbury people or are people travelling in from across the black country?
00:54Yeah. So we do have a lot of people that are like in the area within like a five mile radius, but then we do have like clients come from Kiddy. I've had people come up from London that come and see like their family and then they're booking with me when they're here with family.
01:09The girls, they're the same. They have a lot of people come from. I think Kiddy means the word was someone. Was it Milton Keynes?
01:17Yeah. I think they're hard as well. So we're quite lucky that they do come from afar.
01:22Yeah. And it's a great looking place. So do you do training as well? Did I see training? So what's that element then?
01:29Yeah, I've just second turned into a training academy.
01:32Ah.
01:32I feel that I'm where I am, so I just want to help other people now, like join the industry.
01:38Yeah.
01:39Hence the two girls. They started off on apprenticeships first, qualified, they went to college, done their level two.
01:47Yeah.
01:47And now I've started doing lots of little side treatments that they can qualify, so they haven't got to go to college for it.
01:54They can do in-house training, basically.
01:56Fantastic. You enjoying that, girls?
01:59Yeah, I love that.
02:00Yeah, proper first-hand, real experience, isn't it, as well then? The best way to learn.
02:04So how have you been celebrating your 10th year? Obviously you've pimped the place with your balloons.
02:09Have you had a cheeky little kind of tipple as well, just to say, well, pat yourself on the back?
02:14Not yet. We'll have for the weekend for that.
02:19But as you can see, we've got like cakes and little nibbles out for the clients, and we're just going to stretch it out all week.
