Bristol Rovers were defeated 0-4 at home by MK Dons with Head Coach Darrell Clarke making clear his side’s performance was very poor, whilst Bristol Rovers player Josh McEachran was incredibly disappointed with how events played out against MK Dons at the Memorial Stadium.

00:00Bristol Rovers were simply not good enough.

00:03That's according to their head coach, Daryl Clark,

00:06as the Gats were beaten 4-0 at home by MK Dons in League Two.

00:11Yeah, listen, you don't need me to stand here to say that's not good enough.

00:14We know that. We've got to know that. We've got to understand that as a group.

00:17We give really cheap goals away today.

00:21And we're nowhere near it with the ball, if I'm honest with you.

00:25So, listen, you either go away and blame things and blame this and that.

00:33The fact of the matter is we've been awful today.

00:36And with that has to be a reaction.

00:38And you get that by getting back on the grass as quickly as we can, ready to react again.

00:42So, yeah, not a lot to say on it.

00:44A performance way below the standards.

00:46But I also won't let it derail the base that we've built, OK?

00:51These things can happen sometimes at this level, at any level.

00:56We have to take our medicine tonight.

00:57And then we have to get back to work.

01:03It's really hurting after that result.

01:20I feel like we had a really good week after the Walsall game.

01:23Obviously, that was a disappointing result.

01:25But I felt, yeah, we've had a really good week in training.

01:28And then to concede so early on, put a little dampen on it.

01:31But I just feel like we didn't really get going today.

01:34I never thought like it was a 4-0 defeat, to be honest with you.

01:37But, yeah, three set pieces and they caught us on the counter late on.

01:42So, obviously, no, I'm guided.

01:45Yeah, it just feels like a real kick in the teeth.

01:49But, yeah, we've got to obviously put that aside.

01:52I know it's so early on, but we've got to go back Monday morning

01:54and get things right for next week now.
