00:00My name's Luke. I'm an ex-employee of the Brook Hotel and the Norwich Hotel, which is owned by the same people.
00:07Both are, well they were Best Western Contracts, they're now both housing immigrants.
00:13And basically the reason I'm doing this today is because people in this country, they need to make a stand.
00:17It's gone too far and the further it goes, the worse it's going to get.
00:22So these hotels, they pay £2 million each year to house the immigrants.
00:27There is a £170 house in the Brook Hotel, all males from all different places.
00:33The Norwich Hotel houses males, females and kids, but again it's more of a male majority.
00:40They're paid £2 million each year for that.
00:43Now when they first arrive, they get a choice of Samsungs or iPhones.
00:47Now as most people know, neither of them phones are cheap.
00:49Now obviously they're all paid for by the taxpayers of this country.
00:52They get £70 cash every week into their pocket, as well as all their meals, washing, rooms cleaned for them by the staff each day.
01:00There was events where a knife was found in a room under a pillow during cleaning time from housekeeping team.
01:07Now the knife that was found was from our own kitchen at the Norwich Hotel.
01:10So there was two ways that they could have got it.
01:12That was either through security, because they're very friendly with them,
01:16or one of them has broken into the kitchen during the night and they have taken it.
01:21They get NHS visits, dentists, twice a week.
01:24Now as everyone knows, you can't get a dentist appointment or a doctor's appointment.
01:27It's just impossible.
01:28Drugs were found in rooms, rooms where there could be kids in.
01:33They found cocaine, enough to say there was enough there to believe they were dealing.
01:39Violence towards staffs.
01:41There was events where if they didn't like the food that was on offer,
01:43because again they got a choice of food, so they'd have three options each night, each lunchtime, each morning.
01:50There was a young lad, he didn't like what was on offer,
01:52so he assaulted a member of security just because he didn't like the food he was offered.
01:56Comments made towards female staffs regarding clothing that they're wearing
02:01to the point where it was then their uniform was put in place,
02:04it was trousers, no skin was basically allowed to be shown,
02:06including males, we weren't even allowed to wear shorts.
02:09Things need to change.
02:10The way things are going, people don't realise it.
02:12They see things on Facebook and they think,
02:13oh it's just people being racist or far right.
02:16It's not racist, it's right.
02:18It's as simple as that and that's as far as it goes.
02:20And people need to stand up and actually start backing their own country.
02:23Because if not, it is going to get taken over,
02:25and your kids and your wives, they won't be safe to walk down the road,
02:28they won't be safe to walk home from work.
02:30So yeah, everyone stand up and actually get a backbone.
02:34When you were working at the Brook Hotel,
02:36what did you work as and what was the period that you worked?
02:39So I started on day shift as housekeeping team
02:41and that started at four hours a week.
02:43Now when I started that, that was open both as hotels and to the general public.
02:48After about a year of me working for them,
02:50they then took on the contracts,
02:52to which I stayed on because I had a baby on the way.
02:55So you know, I needed the money.
02:57So I stayed on.
02:59Then they took over the contracts.
03:00And then I became night porter and head of maintenance.
03:04So I was working days and nights.
03:06So obviously I got to see absolutely everything that went on.
03:09How much of a shift have you seen between how peaceful the community is?
03:14The last two years, the amount of stuff that has been posted on Facebook
03:17about foreign males that are specifically from these hotels
03:23is they're following kids, they're following women.
03:25Now two years ago, obviously of course you get,
03:28you're always going to get the odd person.
03:30But since these have been here, there has been a hefty increase.
03:35We saw police frequently visit the hotels from accusations made.
03:39But you know, so yeah, it's definitely a lot worse.
03:41I assume you've known both for quite a few years.
03:45Do you think it's, was it ever a safe place for children?
03:49Yes, it was.
03:49It was a safe place for children until that contract got taken over on the hotel.
03:53That's what I was going to say is, do you think it's a safe place anymore?
03:56No, definitely not.
03:57Even walking down, let's say a kid walking down the road with their mum,
04:01I wouldn't recommend it.
04:02It's just not safe anymore.
04:03It's as simple as that.
04:04Yeah, 26th of July, 2pm.
04:06There is going to be hundreds of people here
04:08protesting about what's happening and what's gone on.
04:12Oh, what, sorry?
04:13Peacefully.
04:14Yeah, peacefully.
04:15Yeah, we don't want, you know, we don't want no rubbish
04:17because it will just ruin it for everyone.
04:19We're here to make a point.
04:20And obviously we don't want that ruined by people
04:22that think they're going to come here just for a bit of a party
04:24because that's not what it's about at all.
04:26My last question then is, what do you think the solution is?
04:30So some people have said, get them out, get them deported,
04:33but deported is such a long way from now.
04:35So what do you think the steps would be?
04:36Some people have also said a best solution is to keep them in the hotels
04:40and just don't leave them in the ground.
04:41I think for the minute, and let's be honest,
04:44whilst we've got a Labour government, nothing's going to change
04:47because Keir Starmer, he's quite happy for him to come here.
04:49He's not bothered.
04:51But I think one of the things that needs to happen is all of the hotels,
04:54they need some sort of curfew, some sort of restriction.
04:57So they're not allowed to travel so far from the hotels.
05:00They're not allowed to certain parks and stuff.
05:03Obviously, not all of them are going to be that way inclined,
05:06but we can't keep taking the risk because every time something happens,
05:10it's just going to create an even bigger problem.
05:12So, yeah, I think it's definitely a way to go to start
05:15is to just sort of segregate them in a way.
05:36So, yeah, we've got some videos or anything for the Brook Hotel.
05:46I do not.
05:47You do not?
05:47No worries.
05:48Nothing like that.
05:49That's all right.
05:50You never know, just in case.
05:52I might be able to get some.
05:53I still speak to a lot of people, including one of the old managers.
05:56Yeah, if you can.
05:58Yeah, if you can possibly for me, and I'll include them in the video.
06:03No, I've got my jumper.
06:04It's good.
06:05It's good.
06:06I know it's on the side too.
06:07Yeah.
06:08Take it for you.
06:09Yeah.
06:10Well I'm late.
