US President Donald Trump told the media on Air Force One on his way back to Washington after signing the Middle East peace document with Qatar, Egypt and Turkiye joined by other world leaders in a summit in Egypt on Oct 13 that he is unsure if the pact will hold when he is no longer in office.

But Trump said he will continue to fight on in support of any future president who is maintaining peace in the region.

00:00Thank you very much. So this was really a historic thing, put it mildly. Wasn't it amazing?
00:07Look at that last meeting, when you see the heads of those countries, those are Syrians countries.
00:14But I thought it was fantastic.
00:17And seeing the so-called hostages, when those kids come back home, the way their parents just went,
00:24your father would not be that way with you. He'd be okay, but he wouldn't be like that.
00:30I would get a hug.
00:32A hug. A minor hug.
00:34Okay.
00:35That's good.
00:36No, I'm okay.
00:38So, how are you doing? Everybody okay?
00:41Very good.
00:41How are you feeling?
00:42I feel good.
00:43It's a long day.
00:46It's a long day.
00:47A couple of big ones.
00:49That first one, it's getting great reviews.
00:52There's a lot of meat in there, and dissecting it, and just playing it all night long.
00:59I think it's a very important day, because nobody thought this was possible.
01:07Something that we heard from some Israelis on the ground, they want to know how the peace
01:12holds when you are not the president.
01:15So, three years from now...
01:17I can't answer it.
01:18I know this, and you, our law witness, we go, and I get 25,000, 35,000, or if you look
01:26at a normal president, we'll get 300 people, and that's not bad, you know.
01:30We'll go to a ballroom, we'll get 300 people, we'll get 35,000.
01:34We had 117,000 people in New Jersey, and so I can't tell you what's going to happen, but
01:40I'll be out there fighting for whoever it may be.
01:43Mr. President, I wanted to ask you about your conversations with world leaders today.
01:47You said that everybody is unified over your plan, but we heard from President Sisi calling
01:54for a two-state solution in independent Palestine.
01:57You're talking about a different plan.
01:58I'm talking about something very much different.
02:01We're talking about rebuilding Gaza.
02:03I'm not talking about single-state or double-state or two-state.
02:07We're talking about rebuilding of Gaza.
02:10What's the road ahead for governing Gaza?
02:13Mr. Well, we'll have to see.
02:13I mean, a lot of people like the one-state solution, and some people like the two-state solution.
02:18We'll have to see.
02:19I haven't commented on that.
02:21How do you see bridging that gap?
02:23Because you have the Arab countries entering the world.
02:24Mr. Well, some point is right, but I think it's right, but I'd be in coordination with other
02:28states and other countries.
02:31And it used to say, I mean, some people might say if there was premature declaring peace in the
02:36whole world, at least, you know, 3,000 years of peace in the world.
02:38I mean, you want more people to be killed?
02:41What do you want another 300,000, 400,000 people to be killed?
02:45Is that what you're looking for?
02:46Mr. But in terms of the risks in Gaza, you know, we're already saying.
02:49The risks.
02:50So you mean, let them fight on for another couple of years?
02:53Let some more buildings fall down on top of people and keep it going?
02:57No, no, we did it the right way.
02:59I think our timing was perfect, actually.
03:01Mr. And in terms of those...
03:02You don't really mean that.
03:03You mean you want them to fight on, no?
03:04I'm just asking about the phase two of the negotiations and how confident you are that
03:09those can get out of the way.
03:11You know, we have a lot of power.
03:12That was a power rope.
03:14Those people, those are the richest countries, but those are really seriously rich countries
03:20and they can handle it.
03:23Bye, everybody.
03:24Thanks, President Trump.
03:24Have a good time.
03:25Thank you, everybody.
