00:00This is the day that people across the region and around the world have been working, striving,
00:11hoping, and praying for. They have done things over the last month that I think were really
00:18unthinkable. Nobody thought this could happen. With the historic agreement we've just signed,
00:24those prayers of millions have finally been answered. After years of suffering and bloodshed,
00:30the war in Gaza is over. Humanitarian aid is now pouring in, including hundreds of truckloads of
00:37food and medical equipment and other supplies, much of it paid for by people in this room.
00:44Civilians are returning to their homes. The hostages are reuniting. I mean, it's beautiful.
00:49I'm just watching it backstage. The level of love and sorrow, I've never seen anything like it.
00:57It's amazing. The new and beautiful day is rising, and now the rebuilding begins. The rebuilding is
01:04maybe going to be the easiest part. I think we've done a lot of the hardest part. But today,
01:09for the first time, anyone can remember we have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to put the old feuds
01:15and bitter hatreds behind us. And that's why so many people in this room, they didn't get along.
01:22Some did, some didn't. But they're getting along now. This has brought the people together. This is
01:26the first time the Middle East crisis has brought people together as opposed to driving them apart
01:31and to declare that our future will not be ruled by the fights of the generations past,
01:37which is foolish. So together, let us continue in the spirit of cooperation and goodwill that has
01:43finally brought us to this incredible historic breakthrough.
