Sulcata tortoise drags a birdcage across the floor and gives the bird a ride

Royal rides come in all forms, sometimes even with a shell as the engine.

Ronnie, the sulcata tortoise, dragged a birdcage across the floor on his back.

With each step, the cage rattled along like it had signed up for the slowest rollercoaster ride on earth.

It looked less like hard work and more like Ronnie’s personal hobby.

The bird got a floor tour, while Ronnie seemed quite pleased to be the four-wheeled chauffeur no one asked for.
