00:00Newcastle United woman earned another late draw, this time against Bristol City,
00:04with manager Becky Langley making clear she's not set on her strongest XI yet.
00:10I think we've probably redefined the midfield today anyway, which I thought was a real positive.
00:14I thought Lois gave a lot of balance in the six and actually helped us get Jordan and Morgan a little bit higher.
00:19So then you could see that creativity really play out in the first half, which was a massive strength.
00:25We obviously went with the front three that ended the game against Palace.
00:28And I thought three of the girls did well in the first half.
00:30But again, we switched it, you know, hoping for the impact from Freya and Beth.
00:35Liss and Jazz obviously came on, I thought gave good energy to the midfield in the second half,
00:39which probably gave us that extra fuel to kick on towards the end of the game.
00:42So, yeah, we've just got to look at multiple factors.
00:44But yeah, obviously, as we said, we're navigating a lot of change.
00:47It's just stabilising probably from the change we've made.
00:50I think we've got such a talented group of players.
00:53There's various options we need to keep working with.
00:55I'm not set on starting XI right now.
01:00I think there's some key players that we are really certain need to be in the starting XI every week.
01:05But there's been flexibility probably in our approach.
01:08And yeah, there's probably spells of the game where you think,
01:10oh, that player did really well.
01:11Oh, actually, that front three looked really good.
01:13Meanwhile, the manager of Newcastle's opponents, Bristol City woman Charlotte Healy,
01:18said that her side deserved to win the game thanks to their second half performance,
01:23despite a disappointing first half.
01:25Yeah, I was really disappointed with the first half performance, to be honest.
01:28We were so far off where we've been.
01:31We weren't brave, didn't play forwards, didn't compete in duels.
01:35We didn't get enough pressure on the ball.
01:37So we were really, really disappointed with that first half.
01:41And we had to be better in the second.
01:42And we made that clear at halftime.
01:44And I thought we were.
01:44I thought you saw a lot more of us.
01:46I thought we did really well in terms of chances created, in terms of competing better.
01:52And then, of course, when you go 2-1 up, you know, we want to win the game.
01:55It's such a poor goal for us to concede.
01:57And I thought on the second half, show them we deserve to win that game.
02:01Two great goals from Rio Hardy today.
02:03She does some hard work off the ball, but goals she really deserves, isn't it?
02:06Yeah, Rio is fantastic.
02:07You know, we know what she brings to this team and how hard she works out of possession.
02:11And, you know, as a number nine, you want to score goals.
