01:37Vitoria's feet do as coisas as mãos normalmente.
01:43Obrigada.
02:05Obrigada.

02:40I think kids even with arms wouldn't be able to do as much as you can do so what
02:46made you want to get into dancing especially having no arms ok no my face
02:51this year for what didn't make me give up was the people who were always by my
02:55side who supported me in all my decisions especially when I decided I
03:01wanted to dance my teachers welcomed me from my first experimental class which
03:06gave me strength but also joy
03:10think you say set to eat
03:19I'll try does it yes
03:28oh we got oh two years ago I made the decision to have my leg removed it was
03:36growing in the wrong direction so having a prosthetic leg has helped me do all the
03:41things I couldn't do before but Vitoria's disability could have stopped her from
03:46doing everyday tasks never mind achieving her dreams she just simply hasn't let it
03:53and that is amazing
03:56so when you go into the shop do people stare yeah we stare at you yeah seeing our
04:05custom a thank you how did you do that
04:09wow wow wow one you
04:15one right now that's not
04:16yeah thank you thanks ciao ciao
04:22is that you yeah yeah you're small yeah it's okay um I kiss that oh my mom my brother my mom and my sister
04:49is that is that is that a bruise bruise on your nose
04:54I always especially at that age used to tap my nose on my forehead because I would fall
05:01oh so when you when you fell it made a mark on your nose because you didn't have the hands
05:07yeah I've fallen a lot getting used to my leg I fell on my hands but I've had a lot of falls so
05:15I kind of get I kind of get what you mean
05:18wow
05:20we all love watching you dance but what do you get out of dance
05:26I feel very strong connection to my body when I'm dancing
05:32whether it be ballet jazz tap I'm completely in the moment as if nothing else matters
05:40but despite Vittoria proving she can do anything dancers with arms can do
05:46professional ballet companies she would love to perform with
05:49say they do not recruit disabled dancers for their productions
05:52I found out that there are some specialist companies for disabled dancers
05:57but Vittoria doesn't want that
06:01she believes she should have the same opportunity as any other dancer
06:05she wants to audition for the world's main ballet companies
06:08for now Vittoria's only audience is on social media
06:29her video posts are followed by nearly half a million people

07:34for the world-famous Royal Ballet Company in London.
07:38Tiago Solas has invited Vitoria
07:40to a private dance lesson
07:41at a school in Rio de Janeiro.
07:50What does it mean to you
07:52to have a world-famous ballet dancer
07:54reach out to you on Instagram?
07:56Throughout this whole journey with dance,
07:59God has always put people in my path to help me.
08:01My family, friends and teachers,
08:04people like Tiago Solas.
08:18Tiago is teaching Vitoria a dance
08:20he has created just for her
08:22and they will perform it to a piece of music
08:24that is special to him.
08:25It is a dream come true for me to meet Diego Solas.
08:30I was nervous and it's a tense day
08:32but it is also the realization of my dreams.
08:35It is a dream come true for me to meet Diego Solas.
08:46I was nervous and it's a tense day
08:49but it is also the realization of my dreams.
08:52I don't think I've met anyone
09:01who would have the courage to do that
09:04not be scared about what people think.
09:08If I can get into college
09:10I can keep dancing and learning
09:12and then I can inspire other people
09:14by performing across the world.
09:16If that happens,
09:18it will prove that ballet can be more inclusive.
09:32As their day together is due to come to an end,
09:34Tiago suddenly announces a surprise for Vitoria.
09:37We're going to dance in a major theater.
09:41This is a surprise I've arranged for you.
09:44I hope you like it.
09:45I'm so happy.
09:47Let's go.
09:48Let's go.
09:50Tiago says he wants to show the world
09:52just what inclusive ballet can look like.
09:57Tiago and Vitoria are going to perform their dance
09:59at a major venue for ballet,
10:02Rio City of Arts Theater.
10:04He's invited our cameras
10:05to film this exclusive performance.
10:10For now,
10:11this is the closest Vitoria will get
10:13to performing professionally
10:15with a world-renowned ballet dancer.
10:23Together,
10:23they want to change the thinking
10:25of many of the world's most prestigious ballet companies,
10:28which for hundreds of years
10:30have seen no place for disability.
10:32Tiago's former company,
10:36the Royal Ballet,
10:37says things are changing
10:39and they are trying to make ballet inclusive.
10:51Vitoria is more hopeful than ever
10:53that she really can pursue her dream.
