💈 Mey Kyoto
📍 19-1 Nishinokyo Shokushicho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto 604-8381
📞 075-334-8501
🔎 Ils ont aussi un Instagram si tu veux voir leurs coupes et styles avant d’y aller.

💈 Frank’s CHOP SHOP Kyoto
📍 〒604-8072 Kyoto, Nakagyo Ward, Yaoyacho, 106 2F
📞 075-708-7992

00:00How to cut my hair in Japan?
00:02It's been a few days that I live here in Kyoto.
00:05And for sure, it's necessary to take care of it.
00:08In any case, I've tested three different coiffures here.
00:11So I can give you a little experience
00:13and some advice if you look for a coiffure in Japan.
00:15And more specifically in Kyoto.
00:17It's already been in the idea that here,
00:19the style of hair is not the same as in France.
00:21So if you take the coiffure of your hair and it's not specialized in what you like,
00:24you risk not to have the perfect.
00:26Here, the Japanese, they like when the finishes are ultra-propes,
00:29with the coiffures that remain in place without moving.
00:31A lot of people use the hair or the spray fixant.
00:33A bit like if each mesh had their exact place.
00:35After that, I'm talking about generalities.
00:37But here, there are several types of salons,
00:39maybe a little more than France,
00:40more or less specialized in certain types of cuts of hair.
00:43For example, you have the coiffures without rendezvous,
00:45often quite generalist.
00:46You pay a board at the entrance,
00:48you take your ticket,
00:49you sit,
00:50you cut your hair,
00:51and it's done.
00:52Rapid, efficace, it's not cheap.
00:53But honestly, it's often proper,
00:55it's also very special.
00:56Then there, you have the coiffures more specialised,
00:58especially for the hair,
00:59which are very rare naturally.
01:01So it's often also specialised in the permanent.
01:04I tested one here,
01:05Mei Kyoto,
01:06and the coiffure that I've had, Takashi,
01:07he's very good English.
01:08He's very nice.
01:09He's very nice to hear.
01:10This salon was really great.
01:11And frankly,
01:12if you ask a coupe in your style,
01:13it makes you a little bit of a bit.
01:15Then you have the classic barber,
01:16which is close to what we have in France,
01:18which is what we have in France,
01:19which is to make a low,
01:20black,
01:21or even birth fade.
01:22I'm going to Chop Shop Kyoto.
01:23The team speaks English.
01:25They're super gentle
01:26and they're really good.
01:27They're really good.
01:28It's not the best of my life,
01:29but at 9000 km from home,
01:31and with the little bit of knowledge
01:32that I have in the city,
01:33frankly, it's more respectable.
01:35But these salons,
01:36more specialized,
01:37will have more high prices
01:38than the generalists
01:39and more high prices
01:40than France.
01:41We're going to have more
01:42high prices to 30€
01:44and so I'm going to let you imagine,
01:45the more you're asking,
01:46the more you're asking,
01:47the more you're asking,
01:48the more you're asking,
01:49the more you're asking,
01:50the more you're asking,
01:51the more the price will increase in the same time.
01:52For the permanent in France,
01:53there's around 50€.
01:54There,
01:55we're going to have more than 100€
01:56for the men.
01:57So,
01:58if you're looking for a couple of coiffures
01:59in the corner,
02:00or maybe you're in travel
02:01and you're afraid to go to the coiffure,
02:02the address and the names
02:03of the two coiffures
02:04who speak English,
02:05and that I'm going to read here.
