00:00Paul, thrilling 3-3 draw against Sutton and obviously heartbreak the late equaliser but

00:05there must be so much pride today. Yeah there is there is yeah like you say you know it's

00:09a bit of pill to swallow right now the next few hours but yeah the boys put in a great shift and

00:15yeah it was unlucky. Yeah I mean you just sort of come in today sort of you know fancying your

00:21chances you know given you know the great form you've been on and obviously Sutton have been

00:25struggling and you and you really you know delivered what you would have wanted on the

00:29thought out there today? Yeah definitely you know when you look at it like that yeah you think so

00:34but you've got to remember you know it's two levels and they were they were full-time in the football

00:40league not so long ago so for where we've come from it's a it's a massive achievement to take it to

00:47the way you know we're still in the hat and we go again Tuesday but yeah it's uh yeah it's a little

00:52bit disappointing. I used to say you're only in the league two a couple of years ago they're full-time

00:56set up and you you wouldn't have you wouldn't have been able to tell that if you didn't know

00:59that today would you you know looking at the game? No you know they're comfortable in possession

01:03in certain areas but yeah I thought we had the better chances we look more of a threat

01:07um yeah we was just as good in large parts of it as they were um yeah so proud on that part. Presumably

01:14obviously it was always a plan to get a fast start and then obviously you got that dream start didn't

01:17you in the second minute with Rowan Dean to the Daz and Daz finishes it off? Yeah you know that's why we went with

01:22the side today you know with Rowan and Lidz up there we knew they could get about them um real quick

01:28and yeah it paid off you know we almost went two up with Owen uh shortly after um but yeah a little bit

01:34a little bit disappointed to concede from the corner and the manner of it but yeah I thought we we rallied

01:40really well um and got ourselves together and realized that we could compete you know against them.

01:45Yeah so you sort of had that chance for two nil and then in that first half at one one at half time you

01:49know sort of well in the game and then in the second half you almost seemed to find a second

01:53wind almost you sort of almost uh improved even more in the second half what was what was the message

01:58at half time? Yeah I thought you know we got in at half time at one all and we had chances and we

02:03we knew we was in the game and we knew we knew sort of what they were going to do and I don't think

02:08that was going to change which they didn't really and um it's about us exploiting that high line you know

02:14first pass was always going to be key for us if we get the first pass right we're in and uh yeah the

02:19boys believed in it and we got off to a real good start. Yeah there's plenty of joy with it and

02:23just the goals I mean there were other occasions throughout the game really weren't there you

02:27sort of exposed it weren't there so yeah you know we was real close um to you know not not killing

02:32the game off but getting that two goal cushion which I think you know I thought we deserved um

02:36just couldn't quite find the finishing touch and uh yeah frustrating frustrating. Yeah I can feel

02:41obviously there is often frustration but there's you know obviously so much to be positive about

02:46and you see the second guard again there's another quick start Bobby Joe down the right

02:49um picks out Daz he really controlled that nicely that finish didn't he? Yeah it was good yeah you

02:53know that's that's the way we play you know on the front foot we get we pass that ball into the 10s

02:57and everything's on the front foot and it's quick and and we we did we did that really well today so

03:02yeah a lot to be happy with um a lot to be proud of for the boys you know we're still in it

03:07and we're still in the hat so we look forward to the draw Monday. So yeah and Dean had the chance for 3-1 and then

03:12but when Sutton got to 2-2 you literally straight back a minute later R&D you know that didn't knock

03:17you at all you were straight back out and straight back in front yeah. Yeah you know that's credit to

03:21the boys you know they know they can compete um with flat teams two levels above us and yeah you know

03:28we're no different we're used to winning you know teams score against us um it's us and we want to

03:32respond and it's a it's a great way to do it. And obviously you've always used the bench well and you

03:38did so again obviously Lids had sort of you know done his course you know really worked hard and

03:42then Sam Evans came on and gave you sort of that sort of different threat didn't he yeah. Yeah that

03:46was the plan today um you know I think there's a few eyebrows raised with us with the team we picked

03:51but yeah I thought it paid off you know really well you know Lids hasn't done much but we knew what

03:55it'd give us um against their back line I knew they wouldn't like it especially down here and uh yeah

04:01we had the subs ready and we knew what we were going to do yeah it was almost there. Six minutes

04:06they've added time and then they score in the 98th minute I mean frustrating I guess you know when

04:12you're so close um yeah yeah it is it's it's really frustrating um when you know at six minutes obviously

04:20Jack's gone down you know was it a minute and 10 seconds I don't think so and then I think he's just

04:25added one of them days and he left he's missed the red cards you know we made three tackles all game

04:30and we've got three bookings and uh yeah there's always going to be one more chance for the ref.

04:35Obviously you'll you look you've got the group together after the game and I imagine obviously

04:39there was a obviously a bit of in the moment there's a bit of you know heartbreak at the late

04:42goal but presumably sort of telling the group you know obviously how well they have done presumably

04:47and forcing it home. Yeah it was yeah you know we're still in the hat um we scored three goals and

04:53over the next like couple of days they're not going to get any better um they are what they are

04:57and uh we we go then you know we've got a chance we've got to believe in that it might not feel

05:02like it at the time um you know what I'm saying to the boys most of me not really taking it on too

05:07much because of how disappointed they are so yeah immensely proud immensely happy um yeah just shame

05:13we fell short. Yeah obviously that disappointment is going to be there now presumably over time

05:16you know the realization will sort of ease off a bit and you know quick turnaround for the replay

05:21and you'll fancy your chances. Yeah you know quick turn around it's not ideal you know we don't want to fall behind in the league

05:26obviously we lose out in the league game that's the priority um but yeah we'll see where it takes

05:31us you know it's a competition you know we said at the start of the season we'd have a look here and

05:35give it um you know see if we can get a big game but you know we've had a sellout here today so

05:40technically we've had our big game and everything's free now you know we've just got to make sure

05:45they don't hurt too much and um we focus on the league. And another sellout today over 2000 today i mean

05:51it's just more memories another special day for the town really and the club. It is you know for the supporters

05:57like say for the town for the club it's a great day and uh hopefully there's many more of them to come.

06:01And just a bit of news sort of today before the game Jack Dean's contract obviously yeah

06:05pleasing to obviously get that sorted. Yeah yeah it's been in the pipeline you know

06:09they said there's a contract there in the summer for him he's had a couple of years of injuries

06:14and uh he's proved his worth we knew he proved his worth um and he's probably deserves it i'm glad he's on good.
