00:00Venezuela commemorates 533 years of indigenous resistance with symbolic activities to pay
00:05tribute to the struggle of the indigenous peoples.
00:08During the day, President Nicolás Maduro joined a massive march that went through the
00:11streets of Caracas to pay tribute to the Venezuelan indigenous peoples, reforming the state's
00:16commitment to social justice, equality and the defense of cultural identity.
00:21They also paid tribute to the father of the homeland, SimĂłn BolĂvar, and to the symbolic
00:25remains of chieftains HuaycaipĂşro and Apacuana.
00:28At the same time, the national leader announced the creation of internationalist militia brigades
00:33of indigenous peoples to strengthen the comprehensive defense of the nation.
00:42I was going to tell this militia commander that we should accelerate and deepen the expansion
00:55of the Bolivarian indigenous militias in every territory of the country.
01:02Create internationalist indigenous brigades throughout Latin America to come here, a Bolivarian indigenous
01:16militia, because I have gotten letters from several indigenous peoples throughout the Americas
01:24who are ready and willing to come and fight with us for our independence and sovereignty.
