27:33So he's not feeling a lot of stress right now in the passing game.

31:23And now they're getting him involved out of the backfield in the passing game.
31:27It's really the ability to play on all three downs.
31:30That's today's modern NFL running back and you can see why Carolina so high on him.

32:20Two touchdowns three for three on passes over twenty yards.

32:28He picks up the first down on first and five.

32:31When you look at his numbers and passes under ten yards.
32:33You know kind of that five to ten.
32:35He's very efficient.
32:36He's very accurate.
32:37It's just very hard.
32:38Those now just become kind of like long handoffs.
32:41And we've talked a lot about how run game efficiency and scoring points and the correlation.
32:45But all of a sudden now you can start pushing the ball downfield.
32:48And now compliment this run game with Rico Dowdle and an offensive line.
32:52That can really get after it.
32:54In the run.
32:55Now you have the explosive element.
32:57To an offense.
32:58That's a big reason why here halfway through the third they've got twenty points.
33:06Fake it to Dowdle.

33:09And he's going to get to Bryce Young as Dallas gets the sack.

38:11You're not really worried about him putting the ball in harm's way.

38:16They just become longer handoffs.

38:20If you're good at both you're always better off throwing it.
38:23Well Dak Prescott has thrown it a lot in his Dallas Cowboy career.

38:46Dak Prescott is going to pass another colleague of ours over at CBS Tony Romo.
38:50And he had some interesting quotes last week before the Jets game when they told him he was getting close.
38:53He said the only stat I care about is I want to catch five which is the Super Bowls.
38:58Roger Staubach and of course Troy Aikman.
39:01Boy this front for Carolina is trying to push this Dallas offensive line.
39:07And that's a second big play in this quarter by Bobby Brown the third.
39:10Yeah that's another big reason why I don't know why they're running the ball more.
39:15You're running into as of you know today and especially last week against Miami.
39:20The strength of this defense they don't rush the passer particularly well.
39:24They played really flat along the line of scrimmage run gap defense.
39:28But this thing keep the ball in Dak's hand and stay out of these third medium third long situations.

39:48Also a flag where Prescott was hit two on the play.

40:17That 15 yard penalty will be enforced from the previous spot.

40:24There was no foul downfield.
40:26So they take the second flag away.
40:28That's the flag that is called and enforced.
40:30Yeah, I think we got to take a look though at the roughing the passer.
40:33I thought in live action he went high.
40:37But I thought he hit Dak Prescott's right arm.
40:40It didn't look like there was forcible contact to the head or neck area.
40:45I'd love to take another look at that.
40:47It's a referee judgment call.
40:49It's any physical act against a passer before, during, or after the pass.
40:53So take a look.
40:54So watch, he raises his left arm, hits his right arm, clearly like in the bicep.
40:59I mean, his hand, I guess, raises the top of his helmet, but I'm not sure.
41:04I thought that was more pass interference than it was.
41:07I thought it was more pass interference, Adam, than I thought it was roughing the passer.
41:11I agree with you on that.

41:13Mike, what did you think on that last call?
41:14Yeah, I don't think it's the arm.
41:16I think that's not that's not forcible contact at all.
41:19Now, there does appear to be helmet contact, though, the helmet to the chin area.
41:24And if that's what was ruled, then replay can't get involved or video assist can't get involved and take it off.
41:30But I think it's more of the helmet than it is the arm because, as you say, Greg, that's not a foul.
41:36It may be.
41:37I thought from that angle, I thought his face mask hit Dak in the chest, but obviously the officials saw different.
41:43So after the incompletion batted down, second down pass, it is Pickens who spins ahead against Mike Jackson.

41:52Third down at about three coming up.
41:56Going hurry up here, trying to keep this Carolina defense on the field.

42:15This is when Dak's at his best, using all the play clock to get into the best play.

42:45Yeah, just the combination of going fast and Dak Prescott operating.
42:50Mike Jackson is usually the wide side corner.
42:53And typically with the ball in that hash, that would be JC Horn matched up against George Pickens.
42:58But because they went fast at him and they just lined up.
